Good news for those of you who had IWATS courses on file...

After some discussion within the DC, we have decided to reward all those of you who had a substantial number of IWATS courses on file and lost those in the split. Everyone with at least three listed courses has just been given a medal:

  • A Dark Cross (DC) was given to those who had between three and seven IWATS graduations.

  • A Star of Antei (StA) was given to everyone with eight to fourteen IWATS courses

  • And finally a Steel Cross (SC) was awarded to the members with fifteen or more IWATS passes on record.

This makes nine new Steel Crosses, ten Stars of Antei and eleven Dark Crosses distributed amongst the members. The top IWATS graduater was OPM Mage - he had a full 29 courses, followed by OT MacDougall (26) and KPN Arion Sunrider and DJK Falcon (20 each).

With this conversion, we hope to close this particular aspect of the EH chapter in our history in a satisfactory way for all those involved.

Congrats on all those who got a medal - better late than never ;-)

If I go take my 30th course, can I get a second Steel Cross? :P

Thanks a bunch, Kaiann, and congratulations to everyone who received recognition for their efforts (and my painful number-crunching :P).

"...The top IWATS graduater was OPM Mage..."

Can we assume "graduater" is a typo, or is Kaiann the new Shakespeare, coining more terms for the coming generations?

Looks like the EH expunged my TC record sometime over the last year. No medal for me? :(

TC Record #6533, LT Chanlin Marr?

{IWATS-AIM-CBX-M/1/2-RT-SM/2-TT} if that is you

Oh! I guess I was still out there...somewhere...scary. ;D

Hmm...well, I hope that there's a medal on the way for one former Lieutenant Colonel Jason Hunter...aka, me. I've gone back to the TC and, much to my surprise, my dossier's still on the database. PIN 5136, if someone wants to go look that up...

Not wanting to sound petty...but I want my medal! pout

p.s. I passed 14 IWATS courses while in the TC... :p

Uh...I'm not sure, but I wouldn't be holding my breath for medals from TC dossiers. I think the point was (and I have absolutely no idea what I'm talking about, really) but I think the point was just for those people who had the IWATs courses on their DB records. After all, there weren't re-awardings for TC (or any other EH limb, for that matter) medals or ranks, so it would seem kind of silly to do it for the IWATS bit.

Or maybe I'm wrong.

So the medals were already awarded?

Bah stupid comments system :p

Regarding the TC profiles:

This setup is supposed to compensate for items you lost from your DB dossier. While I will take TC profiles into account in case someone lost their DB-stored courses (just as I restore SA courses that somehow got deleted if you have some way to document you once had them), this program is not handling things you never had as a DB member.

So, if you had those courses as a DB member but your dossier got lost around the split time, yes, I'll give you the medal based on the TC data. If you only had them as a TC member, they'll not get you anything (your TC rank, medals and other stuff don't transfer either).

How about those of us who never got our courses transferred to our DB profile during that time? Most people just had their TC courses transferred to their DB profile, so I don't see why the TC profile directly can't be used to award the medals....or maybe I'm just confused :P

Ditto to what Halc said. :P

Based on the rather grotesque number of hours I spent diligently plugging all your silly IWATS courses into the database, I sure hope they're all there!

Anyway. Big congrats to everyone who got a shiny-thing.
