_The sun warmed the rooftop, as Rasilvenaira paced across the top of the main building. The Aedile stopped periodically and scanned the Caliburnus complex as it spread out around her. Her thoughts were occasionally interrupted by the beeping of her comlink as R5 kept her informed of any information that seemed even remotely important.

Still, somewhere in the nearly steady stream of information, the report she was waiting for hadn’t come. Her dark eyes swept over the distant horizon, and then she turned, pushing the worried thoughts to the back of her mind. Crossing the rooftop, she headed back down into the building.

She nodded absently to a few people as she passed them in the halls on her way back to her office. The office door slid open and Rasilvenaira stepped into the room. Pausing as the door slid shut behind her; a slight smile flickered over her features as the scent of freshly made tea caught her attention, subtly mingling with the light scent of jasmine from the flowers she’d gathered that morning.

“Thank you, Verlassen.”

The worn, platinum hued protocol droid nodded, “I thought you might require it, Mistress...” He left the thought unfinished, but it wasn’t missed.

“I’m fine; Ver, really, but I do appreciate the tea.”

Settling back in her chair, the Battlemaster sipped the tea slowly, before focusing her thoughts to the work in front of her once more. Stacks of papers that needed her attention were scattered over the surface of her desk, to anyone else it might seem a complete mess, but she knew where things were.

“R5, take a break and head over to the hangar for me. Go over the NyghtFyre again; make sure she’s ready to fly if I need to.”

The little astromech chirped and whirred.

“Yes, I know you checked it yesterday, check it again. Now go on.” As the droid sighed and rolled out of the office, Rasilvenaira picked up a clean sheet of paper and began writing. _

There’s a new Herald report out. Korras is organizing JA/JO/BF2 CTF tournaments to start soon. The next issue of the Dark Voice should be coming out soon, so keep an eye out for that. Also, we have a CSP TeamSpeak server available. The IP is 66.201.187.185:8550 it does have a password as well, which is Judecca. If you have trouble with it, come catch me and I’ll help you get started with it. It’s a great chance to get to know your clan mates in a whole different light.

In House news, the big thing is the Golden Iris Conflict has begun! All of you are being called upon the help your House in this conflict, put your best effort in and you will reap the rewards. Part Three of the GIC begins Sunday!!

Unity. It is so very important, and often overlooked as we each focus on our own desires and ambitions. I think it is something we need to remember. This House, and Clan, is made up of a large group of talented and valuable individuals, true enough. But what gives Scholae Palatinae and House Caliburnus our greatest strength is not that we are a group of great people. It is the fact that when things get tough, we pull together and stand together side by side as one united force. That is what makes us strong, and if we allow that to falter, the Clan as a whole will suffer.

Of course, we are always going to be individuals, each with our own goals, preferences, likes, ect. However, in all that we do, we can not lose sight of the one thing that makes Clan Scholae Palatinae the greatest Clan in the Brotherhood. We are family, while we may not always agree with each other, or see eye to eye on things, when it comes down to it, we are still one family and we need to remember that. Treat each other with respect, help each other, and support each other.

Team work is the vital foundation of our House and Clan, and as long as we keep working together, there is no limit to what we can accomplish. With that thought in mind, look forward, set your eyes to the horizon and the continued glory of Clan Scholae Palatinae and House Caliburnus, it is within your reach.
