The newest edition of the Dark Voice is out! If you haven't had a chance to check it out, please do linky . I like the new layout, looks more like a real newspaper, if you ask me. Even if you don't read the whole thing, at the very least take a gander at the Address from the Iron Throne. The crap and childish antics that have recently impeded our fun within the Brotherhood have pissed off our Grand Master and he is kicking arse and taking names! If you're only purpose within the Brotherhood is to cause others harm, you know where the door is and we'd all appreciate it if you left. We're here to have fun.

In other news, we say goodbye to an old friend and a hello again to another. Dalthid has stepped down from Combat Master. He will be sorely missed and hopefully will consider returning to us at some point when real life settles for him. At the same time, however, Halc has taken the helm and I for one am glad to have him back.

Clan business. We say goodbye to a good leader. Shikyo 'Rurouni' Keibatsu stepped down this week as Quaestor of House of Marka Ragnos. As with many, his real life has gotten a bit more hectic as of late and a break from the DB is needed from time to time. Better to step down then get burned out.

Luckily for us, he isn't going far, just stepping down from a leadership position. He will still fight for us in the upcoming GJW and for that we are grateful. I mean, who else would we get to wear the helmet? LOL

Tsingtao won a Crescent with a Sapphire Star.

Adrian won a Crescent with a Topaz Star, an Emerald Star and an Amethyst Star.

Davin earned a Scroll of Foundation.

Corin won a Crescent with an Emerald Star.

Malik won a Crescent with a Sapphire Star.

Sai won a Crescent with a Sapphire Star, Emerald Star and an Amethyst Star.

Shin'ichi won a Crescent with a Topaz Star, an Emerald Star and earned a Dark Cross.

This week was not a good one for me. Work is starting to get stressful again and for some reason I wasn't getting enough sleep. However, I took Friday off and that was nice except I spent the day doing house work and laundry. Oh well, I can at least relax the rest of the weekend, right? For those of you that may not know, Saturday is Muz's birthday, so if you see him, tell him happy birthday. We have plans to go to a nice Japanese restaurant with a few friends Saturday evening. It should be a lot of fun and I'm looking forward to it.

I would like to take a moment to remind everyone to remember those DB friends of ours that are in the armed services. Even if you don't agree with this 'war' (I for one don't and think our president is the biggest idiot I've seen in a long time...glad I didn't vote for him), they are still serving and it isn't easy. Many have been taken from their families and that's hard enough to begin with. Sarin, Dalthid, even those that aren't in active service but have served, I commend you. See, I recently became a life member of the Ladies Auxiliary for the VFW. My father served during the Korean War and my mom is the Treasurer for their post. I am unable to do much with them as their post, the one I belong to as well is an hour and a half away, but I still support them. I remember when I was little, helping my dad sell poppies each year and going to the picnics. I think it's something our generation doesn't think about as much as our parents generation may have. Don't forget them, they haven't forgotten us.
