As our Proconsul appropriately mentioned on the Clan IRC Channel (#Scholae), it has been some time since my last address to the Clan. You have my apologies, I have had numerous real-life challenges ranging from job difficulties to being computer illiterate... and the report fell by the waist side. However, as your Consul, I accepted a task to be accountable to each and every one of you concerning the state of the Clan...

Clan Projects

Clan Dominion - The Judecca template is complete. It builds upon the excellent groundwork Pontifex Cuchulain provided during his tenure as Consul - including several of his landmarks - and infuses new ideas and thoughts of Phoenix and I. It is, at this point, eleven pages long and is still missing one vital piece of information: a description of the Clan's palace. As soon as Rasilvenaira completes some rough sketches for me, the next phase of our project will begin in earnest... starting with Caina.

Clan Site - Pontifex Arion is working side-by-side with me as we craft new content for the new Clan Site. It is a massive undertaking that requires a lot of communication, and coordination, as we fill in the site. In the end, each of you will be satisfied with the overall product and the ease of navigation it provides to imperative information.

Clan Prospectus - The Prospectus, as always, is an evolving document that describes the heritage and nuances of Clan Scholae Palatinae. It provides countless insights into the Clan, which branches into countless articles with varying levels of depth and continuity. The next big 'project' on this is the "Paths" project that Phoenix and I are crafting to fit the needs of our ever-expanding fictional advancement.

Clan JA Server - A what?! That is right folks, recently a small group of members secured a Jedi Academy (JA) Server for Scholae Palatinae. This will be set-up and moderated by Rasilvenaira StormRaven, as she assists our Clan in the ever-evolving process of development/mentorship of our Clan's Gamers. That... and it will give us an uber server to utilize during the GJW! mwahahahaha

Team Speak Servers - Scholae Palatinae currently possesses two team speak servers now. We maintain an open server, hosted by Primarch Ziguarath, which is available to all members of the Brotherhood - SWG, included. And, now, we have a private CSP server reserved for ease of communication/strategy in our gaming endeavors.

Clan News

Syhpoc Rilkel & Kalak Ragnose have both, recently, attained the illustrious rank of Jedi Hunter and have been assigned their Trials of the Dragon.

Proconsul Phoenix Olkyssagh d'tana Palpatine has been promoted to the pinnacle of the Equite ranks: Sith Warlord. Many congratulations are in order for this paramount promotion of one of our own.

JA Training continues to be hosted on Monday (4:00 PM EST) and Friday (5:00 PM EST). If you have questions concerning material covered, contact either Trainer (Xan or Rasilvenaira) or the JA Training Manager (Cethgus).

Brotherhood News

Major Antei Combat Center (ACC) change takes effect on July 1st, 2007. If you have not updated your Character Sheet (CS) in the ACC to reflect the new 'strong-hand' and 'off-hand' capabilities of your character, it will be assumed you have 1/5 points in your strong hand. This will result in some very difficult realism issues in your future battles/judgments.

CTF Tournament Commences! If you were listed on the official Clan roster (for CSP) on the DB News Page... then you should be in contact with your fellow team members to set-up and play your matches against the rival clans of the Brotherhood. The award will be 1st Level Crescents for the Teams that win their respective brackets.

New Dark Voice released. A new Tribune: Dark Voice has been appointed in the form of Sith Battle Master Derev. He brings a great amount of on-line journalism experience to the table and has infused his own unique style and charisma to the publication. If you have not taken the time to read the most recent issue, do so now!

The Message

The Vendetta of Vendettas is on the horizon. The Seventh Great Jedi War dangles just beyond our reach as the month fades. And I assure you all that the efforts of a few of the Clan's vaunted warriors (Rasilvenaira, Niemand, Nathaniel, RevengeX and Tyno) will not guarantee our Clan its deepest desire: First Clan.

Since the Sixth Great Jedi War, we have built our dynasty by bringing along new members, reinvigorating old ones and pushing several of our talented members slightly further in their duties. These were the building blocks for something special... and the slightest hint of CSP's brilliance shone in the Rite of Supremacy: Second Darkness. An amazing thirty (30) submissions in a single round of fiction by one Clan was absolutely mind-blowing and applauded by the Grand Master.

If we truly wish to unlock our true potential... and those of the people we care about within the Clan... we must all make a personal effort to contribute each and every day of the event. By working on a little each day, you can accomplish a great amount in the course of a war. Focus on your strengths, delve into new things as time permits... but, most importantly, find a way to participate in at least one-third of the GJW events.

THE FIN

The Clan is winding down for the month... do not forget that Phoenix will be awarding CSP All-Stars at the conclusion of the month! CSP Current Events (hosted by me) will end on the 31st... but allows for a free write of any topic you wish to delve into!

Remember to stay vigilant! We are the Clan built on the precepts of right action and equality... we must exhibit these traits at all times by respecting every member of the Brotherhood. Animosity is futile as we are all Clans of one entity: The Brotherhood. You may engage in friendly rivalry, but leave hate or loathing at the door... it does not belong in our community. And, if someone shows you those feelings, do as our good Quaestor of Caliburnus states, "Rise above it."
