Handedness Skills

This rule goes into effect in a few hours. What does that mean to the average ACC member? It means you must update your CS properly with this skill. Otherwise, you will not be able to participate in the ACC until you do, and all CS updates that do not contain this will be denied. There have been a number of reminders about it in various forms. There shouldn't be much excuse on it not being there. I have however still noticed a lot of people not updating their CS' properly in the last couple of days. On top of that, a lot of people seem to be going all out on ensuring their character has a 5 skill in both hands. As a tip, I would highly suggest you spend those points on actual weapon knowledge. You don't have to be amidexterous, and the majority of people aren't. Also, pleae format it "properly". There are examples given to you, both on the ACC Compendium as well as just below. Until it can be coded-in, we're sticking to this format so that is lessens confusion all around.

One Hand Only

Dual-hands

If anyone is confused or would like some advice, feel free to contact me.

ACC Compendium

One of my goals is to go through the entire ACC Compendium, and update as needed. There is a lot of information contained within, and some my be either confusing or contradictory. There have been a couple of new Venues added, and Kraval has put together a list of weapons to add to our Standard Weapons guide. I will hopefully have those added in the next few days. If there is any information there that needs to be changed, feel free to poke me about it.

ACC Initiates Course

Something else that needs to be looked at and updated. There have been a few changes to the way the ACC operates since it's inception. As such, a change in both notes and questions are needed.

PCHL

The first round is nearing completion. There is only one battle remaining before we head into the next rounds. Congratulations go out to those who have already made it into the second round.

Staff

Another new staff member has joined our ranks. We've welcomed Derev, the DV Tribune, into the fold. Also, another staff member is currently trying out his hand at a Trainer job, so hopefully we will have a new Trainer soon in our midst. Anyone ever wishing to apply can, but please first look ath the requirements on this page. The job isn't "easy" in any way shape or form, and you are expected to keep up with your duties. Slacking will quickly get you into my bad books. That being said, being on the staff is also a rewarding experience, as you are directly involved in ensuring others enjoy the ACC experience. It aso doesn't look too bad on those promotion and medal rec's :P

Closing

It's been a fairly quiet week. I would remind everyone that #acc is an offiicial DB channel, and being an idiot will get you banned. Persistance indulgence of that idiot gene will find other non-IRC punishments. Just a reminder in case people forget :P If anyone ever has any questions or comments for me, the best place to reach me is through e-mail at [Log in to view e-mail addresses]. You can also ask general questions about the ACC on this forum post. Have a great week.

hahaha I was the first to comment. I pwn all.

Ironic :P

About the handedness will it be ok to update my CS whilst in a battle or will I just wait till after it?

You can update it while you're in a battle. Just try not to change anything that would affect your battle
