Goings-on

Not a fun week for me but I hope everyone else enjoyed it. At least the weekend around my parts was nice and sunny. Warm sunny days are great for outdoor activities so if you don't have any schooling to do, get out and enjoy.

This weeks winner of the Wednesday trivia is Brimstone. He was the only one to participate and that now concludes the trivia competition. Great job everyone and I hope you all continue to participate in the other various trivia events offered in the DB.

The Clan run-on is has stalled. I know the competition is over but run-ons are a good way to include your character in the Clan's storyline. Make a space for yourself when you can. If you need some ideas or help writing up something just drop me a line and we'll work something out. I know, I could/should post too. Hehehe.

Alright now for some award and SA test news. Brimstone passed the AOL Instant Messenger and the Dark Brotherhood Basics tests. Great job! Tyrus nabbed an Amethyst Star for third place in the Dark Voice Logo Competition. Brimstone got his Legion of the Scholar and will be getting another one very soon. A worthy note here for Windos. Our AED was awarded a Sapphire Blade. I suggest hitting up his dossier and checking out the recommendation that was given. Very cool to see people awarded such lovely merit medals. You guys keep on trucking and one day you too will have nice shiny merit medals of your own :)

There's always the weekly SA trivia held on IRC. In the #SA channel and on the message board every Saturday at approximately 1300 EST. Make sure you check the DB news page for weekly updates.

Oh and there's the Inter Club Training Event or ICTE that happens every Saturday in the #outerrim channel. You'll need some games for that. There's also the Gaming nights during the week if you happen to fancy a game. Just hop into #dbgaming to see what's going on.

Ramblings and Other Such Things

Work Related Fun – It was a busy week. A few days I was there an extra hour or so dealing with the sudden influx. Oh well, that's the nature of the beast. There's really not much to hit on this week. We sent this large aircraft generator overseas and a lot of modeling glue for some odd reason. Orange drink flavoring too. Both flights I'm primarily responsible for got hit with an audit so that slowed progress down to the point where the flight crew were getting annoyed. At least I didn't screw up my end of the job :D

Thought of the Week – "There are unspoken rules for conversations. 1. Don't butt into other peoples conversations unless invited. 2. When you do become part of a conversation, don't stand nearly nose to nose with everyone. 3. Extend the two second rule to a full minute and then you can talk. 4. Make sure you at least don't have bad breath."
