The Jedi Hunter sat hunched over a desk, reading a large three-part tome in House Acclivis Draco's library. It was entitled "The Brotherhood's Orders: A History". His datapad beeped, signaling its owner that a new message had been received. It read, "Spicy. -- RevengeX Palpatine". An expression of puzzlement crossed the former smuggler's face as he tried to decipher the unusual message.
'Spicy?' thought Syphoc as the door of the restricted turbolifts hissed open and a robed figure stepped out.
"Ah... Syphoc Rilkel, I knew I could find you here," stated the Quaestor as he ran five emaciated fingers through his dark brown hair.
Syphoc snatched a free bookmark from a beer mug on the table and placed it between the book's pages. He turned in his chair to face the Krath Epis, whom settled into a thick leather armchair.
"Spicy?" the Jedi Hunter asked as he reread the message on his datapad. It still did not make any sense.
"Spicy."
The two sat in an awkward silence, the Quaestor smirking knowingly as he scanned the library, noting the number of people, and other unnecessary statistics.
"Quaestor Palpatine, why did you send me an obscure message and then come search for me?" asked the younger Krath after clearing his throat hesitantly.
"First, I sent you that message so that you would be so confused that you wouldn't think about moving to a different location - that way, I could find you easily."
Syphoc nodded and thought, 'An interesting way to make someone stop moving.'
"Second, I would like to extend you an offer."
"An offer?"
"An invitation to join the prestigious Order of the Dragon," RevengeX smiled and he saw that an awed grin spread across the Jedi Hunter's face. "If you accept my invitation, you will become the seventh Fang and a Third-class member."
"What title would I receive?" asked Syphoc eagerly.
"The Fang of Spice," replied the Palpatine slyly. "What with your interests in a variety of fields, I cannot but remember that 'Variety is the spice of life.' So, do you need time to mull this over?"
"No, I accept," said the Hunter quickly. "I was wondering who the next inductee would be."
"Superb," said the Epis as he motioned for a droid to bring him some H'Kak bean tea. "What kind of tea do you drink?"
Congratulations to Jedi Hunter Syphoc Rilkel on his induction into the Order of the Dragon as the Fang of Spice! He has proven to be an excellent member and I am glad to have him in our House. His outstanding participation in Missio Draconis, combined with his noteworthy performance in several competitions, has led me to this decision.

HOUSE DIRECTION:
(I'm sorry if this confuses some of you, most whom have never been exposed to this needless squabbling.)
One issue has gotten so out of hand that I feel that it would be ridiculous and offensive to some if I did not address it. Note that this may be offensive to some members, so, I apologize in advance if it offends you.
A Quaestor of House Marka Ragnos has recently resigned from his position.
We all came here to play a game, meet new people, and/or expand our knowledge of the Star Wars universe. We did not come here to play "whisper-behind-the-back" or "cliques-and-stereotypes." (If you came here only to do those two things, I humbly request that you submit a transfer to Rogues immediately - we have no need for your kind here. Thank you.) Yet, that is what is happening. The majority of this is happening outside of our Clan (and I thank the majority of you for having the maturity of not instigating it), but there still remain a few hints of this idiocy in our House, and ultimately, Clan.
I exchanged emails with Shikyo Keibatsu and I learned that he had resigned from his position because the game was no longer fun, and as he got further up the organization's position hierarchy, he realized that people would go cut-throat crazy over a position - quite inappropriate, in my opinion.
On that note, I would like you all to read this excerpt from the first Consul report of SBL Mononoke "Macron" Keibatsu Sadow, the new Consul of Clan Naga Sadow:
Fun. That is what this club is about ultimately at the end of the day. I encourage you to each take a bit and think of what you enjoy in the club. Writing? Gaming? Socializing? You may wish to take a second and look at something you haven't done before and expand your horizons.

And, my last comment. It is not fun when people are not nice to each other. Remember, you are all supposed to be brethren in this Clan. I got an email from someone last week that was ratherÂ… unpleasant. Let me assure you, I am overall a nice guy with an open mind. However, I will tolerate no BS. Being ugly reduces everyone's fun factor, mine included. If a person pulls some things that I have seen go down in my time here that were mean or ugly, they will suffer the consequences.
Politics, according to Wikipedia, "is the process by which groups of people make decisions". It comes with every organization that contains organized structure. I'm talking about is the generic "whisper-I-should-have-gotten-that-____-whisper" stuff when I type "politics". From nations' governments to high school clubs/teams, it comes, lured by the scent of jealousy, envy, arrogance.
It is inevitable, and it is inappropriate. I want House Acclivis Draco to have a light-hearted atmosphere with a true sense of friendship and familial relationships.
If you have a problem, let me, or someone else who can do something about it, know - especially if it's about the DJB.
And thus I end with the preaching of the House motto:

(Maybe I'm just being paranoid and over-analytical, but...)
The two have become interchangeable in the DJB's facets of communication, but, in my opinion, I find them to be quite different.
"DB" - Dark Brotherhood
"DJB" - Dark Jedi Brotherhood
"Dark Brotherhood" makes us sound like a bunch of no-life, cliché cultists. When someone heres "Dark Jedi Brotherhood," on the other hand, they will probably think, 'Oh yea, Jedi... Star Wars. Dark Side. Force.'
"Dark Jedi Brotherhood" reassures me that we are an organization based around Star Wars - not power-hungry bigots like those related with the "Dark Brotherhood."
I don't know... I just don't like the negative connotations "Dark Brotherhood" brings.
