Combat Master Report

09 July 2007

Handedness Skills

This will hopefully be the last "reminder" for this I do in a report. This rule is now completely in effect, and has been for the last week. I still however see people trying to update their Character Sheet without fixing this part. This is important as you won't be able to participate in anything involving the ACC (GJW included) if you don't have it updated properly. This also goes for the proper "format". I have two examples below that formats it exactly correct, depending on which version you want. Also remember, you do not need to fully maximize both hands. If you didn't "dual wield" weapons before, there's no point in trying to do so now. Nor do you need a "5" in your one hand either. You can find all of the exact details on the ACC Compendium

One Hand Only

Dual-hands

If anyone is confused or would like some advice, feel free to contact me.

ACC Compendium

Once things settle down a bit more for me, I have some updates to make to the Compendium. Kraval has completed work on putting together a more in-depth species list. It'll become the "final" list on species. So if it's not on that list, you can't use it. There will also be enough information on each species so that you don't have to go searching online when you're battling. If there are ever any additions/changes you've noticed, feel free to e-mail me them

ACC Initiates Course

Telona has sent me an update for this course that I will be looking over this week, so hopefully I'll have something to send to Anshar soon. It'll update both the notes as well as the questions.

PCHL

The second round has begun. Thanks go out to Dalthid for getting it started for me. Good luck to the participants as they view for the title of Ace.

GJW

I've sent the rules up the line and things seem ok on that end. I still have some more work to do on certain aspects on it, but it'll be done before the competition starts. There is a bit of a difference to this event and most ACC-run competitions. It will however be fair to everyone, so everyone will be in the same boat.

That being said, during the GJW the staff will operate at a reduced capacity. Since the bulk of the staff is in Clans (and important parts of their Clans) they will be busy participating in the GJW, just like everywhere else. As such, expect things to take longer than normal. Most other "offices" stop during large competitions such as this, and the ACC won't be any different. I will be running the ACC portion myself, with help from others who are not in a Clan.

Staff

Sai has changed over from being a Judge to a Trainer, filling in an important part of the ACC. While I am not "acitvely" looking for new staff members, everyone is free to apply at any time. Anyone ever wishing to apply can, but please first look ath the requirements on this page. The job isn't "easy" in any way shape or form, and you are expected to keep up with your duties. Slacking will quickly get you into my bad books. That being said, being on the staff is also a rewarding experience, as you are directly involved in ensuring others enjoy the ACC experience. It aso doesn't look too bad on those promotion and medal rec's :P

Closing

The GJW is almost upon us. My RL has been fairly hectic this week, and coupled with GJW preparations means I'm a bit slower in responding to this than usually, so just be patient. If anyone ever has any questions or comments for me, the best place to reach me is through e-mail at [Log in to view e-mail addresses]. You can also ask general questions about the ACC on this forum post. Have a great week.

In darkness,

DJM Halcyon Rokir

Promotion and medal rec's DENIED!!!111 :P
