Quaestor Report

GJW 7 is about to end. I hope everyone who participated had fun doing so. I think the events were diverse enough to appeal to everyone. I know I had fun and I’m looking forward to relaxing a bit now and wait for the judges to add everything up and see where we landed.

I’m proud of everyone who got out there and fought. I think we did get a great job regardless of what the judges end up telling us. If you didn’t participate, you missed out. This was an awesome was an awesome war.

Ok, SA courses is the name of the game this week. Here’s what we have so far:

Astronicus ‘Tron’ Aurelius Sadow – Conflict Mediation

Kyrath Amaranthi – DJB Basics, IRC Basics, Weapons Basics

Kaelin Ring – Force Philosophy, HTML Basics

Tsingtao – Pre-Republic History, History of the Sith Empire I, II, and III, Sith Core

Tionnar Asrubiel Sizlocas – History of the Sith Empire I

I am sure there are many more, but these are the ones that have been graded so far. Remember, you have until 11:59 PM Saturday EST to complete SA Courses and you can take ones you already have taken once before. So get out there and take some courses.

Joining our ranks this week are:

VilryeDominus and Starkiller

Welcome aboard!

I would like to close this report by saluting the people behind this war. The Dark Council gets a bum rap at times as people complain when they don’t get their way, or something occurs during these major vendettas that doesn’t seem right or fair and they are the ones that have to put up with it all…and they don’t get paid for it.

I don’t think many of you truly know what it takes to pull something like this together. Raken, for instance, wrote the entire fiction and did an incredible job. Halc and Kraval had to judge all the ACC matches. Muz…Muz did a lot for this. He has had to read every fiction from every member. He had to pull together the war game. Deal with problems when they arose. He’s also had to go out of the realms of his job and do coding because it wasn’t done on time. They all deserve our thanks for putting this competition together. So if you see them on IRC give them a pat on the back and say, “Well done!” As without them, none of this would have been possible.
