Crimson vanguard status report.

Greetings Crimson Vanguard, We once again have a complete House summit, consisting of BTL’s, an ENV, a QUA, and now a new AED. Welcome back to Daniel Goad, a former BTL of CV and a helluva guy.

With the selection of our new Aedile, plans begin formation, and will be set into motion soon. Expect more house wide emails regarding fun stuff, and changes of some sort.

Laugh it up fuzzball: a short funny writing comp just for you. Basically anything goes, as long as it’s clean jokes. You can use any form of writing perspective for this, in character works great for this comp. But please avoid sending me C&P(copy and paste) mIRC convo’s for your submission. Try something creative and fun.

Activity is high right now, considering post GJW vacations and the start of a new school year. So start expecting more stuff to do! Goad and Crix, will have something going soon for the house, laugh it up fuzzball is going right now, till the 15th, more comps coming for your promotion objectives, DB wide comps can also work for this so check out the comp listing page frequently.

Gaming: CV may not have many gamers, due to internet problems and hardware difficulties etc. Crix and myself have been talking about bringing back TIE fighter, XVT, and XWA just for SP purposes. I’m in the process of getting a hold of these games for the purpose of making single player missions that may be used as comps. If you don’t have the games, don’t worry too much about it. This idea is only in the planning stages. I have also been thinking about JO ladders for CV, if you don’t have Jedi Outcast, it’s not too hard to find, or play. You can find it in the SW best of PC set, with KotORI and BF and Republic Commando, and Empire at War.

I will also be looking into SP gaming comps on the whole, whether your submission is a screenshot or what have you.

Since very little has happened since my last report, there’s not much to report this week.

Currently Chaos and Duga are running a touch Swiper and get a dollar comp. Basically you draw a comic about touching the great swiper for a dollar, this is a funny comp and your entries should be comical. Send them straight to Duga, and Chaos. Stick figures allowed, remember to make them laugh hard.

Graphics: This isn’t a comp, just a little something to do for fun. If you ever thought about making logo’s and images of all sorts for CV/Archanis, feel free to brainstorm and create anything you’d like. Feel free to send me any artwork you may have, CV related videos included.
