Proconsul Report

Greetings Members of the Royal Clan,

This is my first official report as the PCON of CSP. Many thanks go out to Phoenix and Braecen for having the faith in me to appoint me to this position. I know that if we work together, there is nothing that we cannot accomplish. With that said, let’s get into the meat of the report.

AWOL CHECK

There is an AWOL Check in progress for the Journeymen of the Clan. This means that if you are between the ranks of Apprentice and Dark Jedi Knight, you MUST respond or face the possibility that you will be placed in the Rogues. (Rogues are sent off to Antei to fight the Vong. Not many have returned. You DON’T want to go Rogue.) So, if you are willing to be active, please email myself at [Log in to view e-mail addresses], Phoenix at [Log in to view e-mail addresses], and Braecen at [Log in to view e-mail addresses]. A simple “here” or “present” will suffice. This check will run until September 17th at 11:59 Pacific Daylight Time (My time zone). Those who have not replied will be sent to the Rogues.

WAR OVER, REBUILDING TO BEGIN IMMEDIATELY

As many of you have noticed, the leadership of the Clan has changed dramatically. Braecen has left the position of Consul, giving way to Phoenix the Ruthless. I have replaced Phoenix as Proconsul, as position I have held in Clan Plagueis in the past.

Braecen has remained on as KCE until we can find a suitable replacement. Applications are currently being taken DB wide. If you are interested in the position, please see the news post on the DB main page. There are several requirements that are pretty set in stone, although the right person will always be given consideration.

House Dorimad Sol has opened! Koskian has been appointed as Quaestor with Syphoc Rilkel taking the mantle of Aedile. We wish them the best of luck in the opening of their new house. Should anyone wish to transfer to HDS, please inform Phoenix and myself and we will affect the transfer manually. There is no need to submit a formal transfer request to the MAA. Please note that if you are in a Battleteam in another House and wish to transfer to HDS, you will no longer be a part of your Battleteam as they are fixed to a House.

The leadership of House Caliburnus has changed. Rasilvenaira has succeeded Thran as QUA and Yzarc Rellik has accepted to be her Aedile. Good luck to the both of them as well.

COMPETITIONS

There are several competitions available to CSP members. Once I get more settled into the position, I will be coming out with many more. Tons of medals were given out for the GJW and Phoenix covered most of them in his final PCON report. There are, however, a few that I would like to mention that have come across since then.

Promotion to Jedi Hunter

Xathia dan Locut’Hal

The reason given for this request:

Since her last promotion, Xathia has been a consistent and dedicated

member of Clan Scholae Palatinae and House Caliburnus. Her friendly and

helpful presence on IRC has benefited many newer members as she is ready

and willing to help out in answering questions. Xathia completed two

Shadow Academy courses to continue her training. She has also participated

in numerous competitions including the Rite of Supremacy, Great Jedi War

7, as well as smaller house and clan competitions which have earned her a

Seal of Darkness, five Seals of Pain, and a fair collection of Crescents

and a Legion of the Scholar.

Xathia has been active in the ACC, and her enthusiasm for the platform has

led to her desire to assist other members of the Clan in improving their

own writing, which she does by offering to proof read and offer constructive criticisms and suggestions. She has also recently become

involved in helping with the clan wiki and character development

projects,

as well as offering her assistance in several House projects.

In all, Xathia has proven herself to be a solid and valuable member,

and a

great pleasure to have in House Caliburnus, and I believe that she has

more than earned her elevation to the rank of Jedi Hunter.

Xathia dan Locut'Hal has been a most superb addition to House

Caliburnus,

totally committed to helping others out where she is able, she

continually

helps people out with their ACC work, by providing a means for them to

proof-read material and add constructive criticism to their work, this

doesn't stop with the ACC, but also extends to other people's fictions

and

poetry, purely because she wants to help them out.

Xathia is also an extremely active member. She has gathered no less

than

fourteen medals since her last promotion. Seven of these were Crescents

of

varying degrees. She has always been a steady presence on IRC, offering

advice and debate where needed, helping people with various problems

they

might have in the Brotherhood. Xathia also contributed towards Clan

Scholae Palatinae's second overall position in the 7th GJW, earning her

Seals of Pain.

In addition to this, Xathia recently was given the House position of

Advisor, advising both the Quaestor and myself. With this honor came an

induction into the Order of the Serpent as a Serpent's Fang.

I am happy to recommend Xathia dan Locut'hal for a promotion to Jedi

Hunter, it is well deserved. Congratulations, Jedi Hunter.

My apprentice, Xathia dan Locut'Hal, has completed all the necessary

requirements for elevation to the next level in her explorations of the

Dark Side. In the time Xathia has spent under my tutelage she has

competed

in many activities, which include but are not limited to The Great Jedi

War 7, The Rites of Supremacy, and more than twenty smaller

competitions.

Xathia has also become one of the staple contenders for Clan Scholae

Palatinae by participating in the ACC. She has completed 11 battles

with 9

wins, an impressive feat for anyone. Above that Xathia has done a great

deal of work for her House and Clan, including a project detailing NPC

Droids and facts about them. Xathia has also become involved in the

Clan

Wiki, helping out in every way she can. In applying for a serious role

in

character development for the Clan, she has appeased both the House and

Clan Summits.

Xathia has the medals to prove that her work is not something to be

sneezed at. I congratulate you, my apprentice, and wish you the best of

luck in all future endeavors.

Ok, that completes my first official report as PCON. The next one will be all shiny and nice. I just haven’t had a chance to make my report graphics yet.

The main thing I want everyone to remember is that the DB is about fun. We are here to have it and spread it around. If there is anything you would like to see or any competition that you would like to see run, do not hesitate to let Phoenix and I know. We aren’t mind readers, as much as I would like to believe that I possess Projective/Receptive Telepathy in real life, I don’t. So, I will try to spread around the fun as much as possible, but sometimes I need input from you guys as well.
