A couple of news. Very important for your advancement.
Im running 4 (FOUR!!!) competitions for you all to do. Explained in the competitions section.
There are 2 threads you need to look out for on the Message Boards (or rather, Forums)
1st: The Ravana team "Training Grounds" Run On.
Here, me and Ashura your Aedile, will teach you how to Role Play and write fictions. You post, we comment, you improve. Works well.
Try it out it WILL benefit you in the future.
2nd: The Ravana team "Ravana Squadron HQ"
Basically a chill out thread where you can talk to each other, get to know eachother etc. Roleplay in welcome here ^^
As I said before, 4 competitions that you can do which can help you advance.
1st: Character history fiction
Write a 2 page minimum fiction on your characters history.Where he was born, what he did as a child, etc.
This competition will last 3 weeks so you have time to do it and do it well.
Three fictions of the best quality will get crescents.
Platforms: Any type of writing program: MS Word, Notepad, Wordpad, et.
MUST be a .doc or .txt file
Awards: Fifth level crescents Comments: For reference use the Training Run On on the Forums. You will find useful comments there.

2nd: Fun Games Week
Every week I will be giving you a new, fun online game to play. I can give any type of game, be it action, arcade or logical.
You have a week to play this game and reach the highest score, and you can do it as many times as you like.
Three best scorers each week get a crescent.
Platforms: Internet Browser with a latest version of Flash Player installed

3rd: Caption week
Every week I'll be putting a new image on the specific thread opened on the forum. Your job is to write your thoughts about what the picture is saying, ergo write a caption.
Every week three of the best captions will be awarded with crescents.

4th: Ravana logo
Make a Ravana Battleteam logo. The current logo has been here for a long time and is not to my liking.
Make a new one from your own ideas. Use your imagination.
This competition will run for 2 week so you have enough time to draw the image.
Platforms: MS Paint, Photoshop, Corel; or you can draw on paper, scan the image and send that.
Awards: Fifth level crescents
Comments: You can draw an image on paper, scan it and send it to me. Then I'll make it in photoshop with your help and ideas.

**Trials of the Novice**
In order to be promoted to Acolyte, the Novice must complete TWO of the following tasks (none of which were used to satisfy the requirements for promotion to Novice):
Pass the IRC Basics course.
Pass the Krath, Obelisk, or Sith CORE course.
Participate in a Competition.
Participate in a Gaming Night.
Complete a Minor Task set by the Master.
Join the Clan on IRC (Internet Relay Chat).
Register and Post a Message on the Clan Naga Sadow Message Board.
Following completion of TWO of these tasks, the rank of of Acolyte will be granted.
**Trials of the Acolyte**
In order to be promoted to Protector, the Acolyte must complete THREE of the following tasks (none of which were used to satisfy a previous promotion requirement):
Participate in 2 Competitions.
Earn a Crescent from a Competition.
Earn a Dark Side Scroll.
Earn a Cluster of Fire from a Gaming Night.
Contribute about 2,500 bytes worth of work on a CNS-related wiki article. Contact the clan summit for a listing of articles that still need work.
Complete a Minor Tasks set by the Master (BTL, AED, or QUA is acceptable if Acolyte has no Master)
Following the completion of THREE of these tasks, the rank of Protector will be granted.

Do the tasks, REPORT THEM TO ME!!! this is essential and saves a lot of time.
