Hi everyone! Sorry I've not been as active as usual. I've been sick all week (bummer) and studying for my math test and final. On top of that was the bad weather and a couple of very late mornings. I still have my final to look forward to but hopefully the weather won't be terrible.

News

The Praxeum now has a new leader. Dralin Vhett has chosen to step forward to lead the battle team. If anyone would like to join the team please email him, Deatharoc, and myself. Congratulations Dralin! Drinks are on you.

The position of Rollmaster and Envoy is open for applications. This position will serve as a sort of leadership training area where you will be in charge of performing certain duties, aiding the summit in secret projects, and producing reports. If you are interested in becoming a leader in the DB but are unsure of where to start then this position is for you. Deatharoc and I will accept applications until Dec. 15. In your application please state why you should be the next RM/Envoy.

I am sad to say that we had to disband the Tau battle team. There just isn't enough active members to keep more than one BT open at this moment in time. It is a nasty trend I am seeing and I'm hoping its just the pressure of finals and the upcoming holidays that's keeping people from being active. Hopefully we can one day reopen a BT or two but for now the Praxeum will be the only available BT.

Someone asked me a question this week I think I should answer here. The questions was 'What is a party favor?' A party favor is the decorations, little gifts, noisemakers, and hats. So when you sit down to do a couple easy events from the Gladius December Festival competition you'll know to draw one of those little favors. Will it be lightsaber shaped confettii? How about whistles that sound like Rancors? You decide and have fun deciding :)

Funny, Strange, and Amazing

Have you ever seen a MD-11 sitting on its tail? It's kinda funny until you realize how expensive it will be to just hoist the plane up let alone fix the tail stand that broke and figure out why the nose tethers didn't hold. In my time at FedEx I have seen quite a few accidents involving planes. How about a push-back that hit the front nose gear, collapsed it, and had the nose of the plane crash down upon it? That one could happen to any plane. None beats the TUG that rocketed up into the wing of a 727 though. I smirk every time I think about it. If you ever want a TUG to lurch itself upwards just give the old gas tank a top off of diesel fuel and a nice chock to send the nose skyward. I do feel sorry for the driver because it wasn't their fault but it's still funny. A shame I don't have any pictures but we are not allowed to have cameras and this accident happened before camera phones.
