Oh boy, it’s that time again for another report from the T:SWG. So lets just get straight down to business here.

Galaxies News:

Well it appears that most, if not all, of the staff down at Sony have decided they need a break for the year. Expect delays with customer service until after the new year.

The last two report you all have been hearing about what I have encountered on the Test Center Server with Chapter 8 coming out. Well the wait is almost over. Well according the Developer Deadmeat, they are planning on putting chapter 8 out to live shortly after the new year. By short, who knows what they mean. It could be a few days, to a few weeks.

Let me fill you in on one more aspect of the coming chapter that is away from the almost entire space centered chapter. For those of you that have walked around the NPC cities and seen chairs and tables flipped over sideways like there was just a brawl going on in the room, you too will now be able to do that when decorating your houses. They are changing the way moving items around works. We are used to the /rotate, /move forward/back/up/down commands. The new system will utilize a Yaw/Pitch/roll command interface. So if you ever thought you were creative with your houses before, just imagine what you can accomplish now.

DBPA News:

I know you guys are probably wondering what is happening with all of the DBPA rank changes. Well I wish I could answer more, except for the time being you are all assigned ranks that correspond with your current DJB rank, or Dark Council position. This is just temporary. Braecen, and myself have been working with the GM, DGM, to get a good fiction going for our small group. This fiction will also lead us to what rank system that we will be using. I hope already sent in, what I think, is a good idea, and will not conflict with any of the Brotherhoods future plans. Once I have the blessings of GM Sarin, I will be able to update your ranks, and also fill in a large chunk of our Wiki article.

Maximus Raidoner Mandalore has also been busy. Working to restore a little bit of order to our city, plus a secret project we are working on. Should be a big hit when it kicks off.

I have also been outside of the game a little bit more then usual, but that is only because I am working on a ton of paper work for the DBPA, and also a little bit with my house. Also this being the holidays it has seemed to keep a few of you away, but don’t worry things will be back full swing after the new year.

Expect me to be on a Temp LOA early in Jan. I will be moving from Washington state to California. I should only be about 5 days with no guaranteed internet. So while I am out I am hoping Braecen will continue to kick butt for me, and in game, please direct all issues to the High Council. For those that do not know who they are, keep reading as I will point them out in a few.

Achievements:

Herald Shikyo has been phenomenal. It seems he has been tied to my hip lately. He has done up a prototype logo for the DBPA that you can see at the top of the report. Currently I am accepting suggestions for any possible changes that may need to be done.

Also I am officially announcing Shikyo’s induction into the High Council. Be on the look out for something done up pretty through the mailing list about this.

Yes that’s right, starting with my next report, I will be adding some trivia question. The first two people to email me the correct answer will win a Legion of Scholar. How’s that for expanding our opportunities to win more the CF’s and Cresants from this group? I expect you all to do better then the rest of the Brotherhood, because on top of the usual movies, EU trivia, I am throwing out some in game questions. Could be something as simple as what /command is used to make your character do what, or something as hard as respawn timers on certain mobs.

Integrate yourself with your Clan, your House, and the DJB as a whole. My intent here is to keep the DBPA as involved with the rest of the Brotherhood as much as I can. If you think of a competition, or some fiction that will further tie our group into the DJB, please share those with me. The days of the DBPA being off on its own program are over. We are writers, and gamers, that just happen to have out own separate subgroup. But with that said, we are members of the DJB first and foremost. You can read all about what the goals of the DJB are on your own time, but the goals of the DBPA are to play SWG and have fun, be active with the rest of the community, and recruit new faces to the Brotherhood as a whole.
