Greetings House Gladius and Happy New Year!

I trust you all had spectacular holidays and I'm sure that you're all ready to make 2008 a great year for House Gladius. Last year was great but let's make this year even better.

There has been quite a bit going on over the holidays. The Consul ran a Scavenger Hunt, which some of you may have entered; Quaestor Telona hosted a festival competition; and I'm still running two competitions for you guys to enjoy. There are several big house projects being discussed by Telona and I, plus there is also a huge Clan event coming up. So expect to hear more information about that in the coming weeks.

For journeymen who wish to get promoted more quickly, I would highly encourage joining a battle team or asking the summit to assign you a master. The two mentioned ways are both excellent methods for getting more experience and getting promoted.

I'm also, as usual, reminding all of you to get active. Participate in an ACC Battle, take an SA Course or play in a gaming night. I want to promote or give medals and to do that, I need you guys to get active. So get going!

Shadow Academy Passes:

Kyp Quin-Vos passed IRC Basics and Conflict Mediation. Congrats!

Severon passed his Training Saber course and also finished the Advancement Survey! The more the merrier!

Medals:

Telona got an Amethys Kukri! Wow!

Abraxus Macedon got 12 Clusters of Fire! Great job!

Promotions:

Charon Lorccan "Ziltopia" Blathnat gpt promoted to Krath Archpriest. Well done!

Since Telona's Festival Competition is over, look out for some of the medals that will be given out. Have a fun week Gladius, and let's start the year with a bang!
