Hi everyone! Hope you've all stayed warm if you are in a more colder region of the world. For me I think it got up to 12 degrees Fahrenheit or about -11 degrees Celsius for those who like Celsius better. Either way it's freaken cold.

News

Well we've not had any new people join our fine House. I would guess there aren't many joining the DB right now so drag your friends over.

The first competition in the effort to further fill out Gladius is done. I am disappointed in the number of participants considering how many of you are at JH and below. Can't gain rank if you sit on your thumbs! No worries though, the next competition will be out later in the week. Look forward to that and remember to participate.

It really has been pretty quiet all across the DB. The biggest news affects those in the DB PA which was our Star Wars Galaxy guild. It is no longer associated with the DB and the game itself has fallen into the normal game category. There's also two EP positions open in the Shadow Academy if you are interested check out the latest HM report that's up on the DB news page. Oh and hype for the newest SW game, Force Unleashed, is building. Looks to be cool.

Funny, Strange, and Amazing

People drive pretty stupidly. I find it amazing that it can just be really cold and people slide off all over the place. Get a half inch of snow on the ground, all of which is not on the roads, and people go nuts sliding everywhere. Even the hint of falling precipitation makes some people drive half the speed limit. It's really frustrating to get behind someone like that. The one I didn't care for the most was this one that was doing half the speed limit and fishtailing all over the place. There was no reason for doing either one so I'm guessing they were on some kind of substance and trying to do two things at once. Maybe it was the little bit of water on the road. Either way I whipped around them and sped on by without any problems. If you drive or will be driving soon, keep a good head on your shoulders.
