House Marka Ragnos Quaestor Report #3

Dark Greetings House Marka Ragnos,
Before I go into depth on this, my third Quaestor report, I would just like to apologise for the somewhat slow month we are having. A House is only as active as its leader, and I have been somewhat inactive in bed with Tonsillitis for the last week and a bit. Not the best example a leader can show, so I decided to rise up to the challenge and lead by example, after all thats what a leader is being all about; leading by example.
I believe it was Albert Einstein who once said, People love chopping wood. In this activity one immediately sees results. Therefore I must chop wood, but in this case the wood has been replaced by my fiction entry for the DB-wide competition What Dreams May Come. Now, I have never read the Legacy era comics, so everything in the fiction below is what I could dig up on the Star Wars Wiki I also like to thank Faeril for proofreading it.
Activity is not solely about winning and earning medals, its about having fun, and I had fun writing this as it was a challenge. So I hope you all enjoy reading it, probably not the best of my work but still something I want to share with you all.
What Dreams May Come

This is Bastion, Sith, and you are dead.
Ashura looked up at the Knight who had spoken to him, and pondered about what was said?
Dead, you say? He asked the Imperial Knight as he stood up raising his hands up in surrender. The Sith Battlemaster was not about to rush into anything. All he had on was silk black meditation robe and black trousers. Ashura wasnt even sure how well trained these Jedi, which he assumed they were, were trained.
Shouldnt we report him, sir? One of the other Knights asked.
No, we dont know who he is? For all we know he could be here to kill Emperor Fel.
Who is Emperor Fel? Ashura asked as he wasnt about to let these Jedi talk as if he was not here.
The Knights looked at him like he was stupid. The largest of them said, Emperor Roan Fel is the true leader of the Galactic Empire, not the false one you work for!
And who would that be? Ash asked again.
The Sith Lord known as Darth Krayt, your Master, assassin!
Never heard of him!
Lies! The largest Knight shouted as he back fisted the stranger, Ashura chose not to respond to that, he decided to use words instead.
Listen to me Jedi; my name is Ashura Isradia, Sith Battlemaster of the Dark Brotherhood, I am no assassin, I am no servant of any Darth Krayt!
It was a risky move Ashura had just done, but it was one that paid off, the confused faces of the Knights were enough to tell him they didnt know what he was talking about, except for the largest of them.
Dark Brotherhood, of the Emperors Hammer?! Ashura quickly saw the mistake but decided to use this to his advantage.
Yes, loyal servants to the will of the fallen Emperor, Palpatine.
Thats impossible, the Emperors Hammer and its Dark Brotherhood died out over a hundred years ago. Its ancient history.
Then you must have a lot of questions for me then? Ashura said as he realised that this may be his ticket to finding out what his vision was going on about.
The Siths hunch paid off as instead of killing him, the Imperial Knights took him back to their headquarters on Bastian, the world known as Sartinaynian.
Isradia found himself in a holding cell with two guards, Imperial Knights, watching him from the outside. Ash kneeled in the centre of the cell with his eyes closed as he meditated on the situation he was in.

Sith Battlemaster Ashura Isradia, are you sure? Roan Fel asked as he looked around the room he had called his new home for the last couple of month. Are you sure it is not a trick?
No, your Highness, replied Ganner Krieg, I would have felt it if he was lying. He wasnt.
He should still be killed, replied Sigel Dare coldly; she had been with Krieg when they found the Sith. We dont know who he is, he's dangerous. Your Highness, the talks with the Galactic Alliance is coming soon. What if Darth Krayt sent him here as a spy? He must die!
I disagree, Ganner said, atleast lets see what he knows first?
Fel sighed as he leaned back into the throne he was sitting in; he closed his eyes for a moment and then nodded. Bring him before me.
Sigel looked like she wanted to say more, but instead bowed with Ganner. At once, Highness.

Ashura found himself escorted by Krieg and Dare, along with a number of other Imperial Knights.
They entered the throne room and stopped in the middle, all the Knights were now standing in a line between where Ash was standing and where Fel was sitting, a human wall.
Greetings your Majesty, The Quaestor said as he bowed out of the respect, I must say I am surprised by this audience.
Tell me Sith, who commanded the Emperors Hammer, Roan asked, as detailed records of the past were vague at best and you needed to be someone of importance to read through the ones they had.
Stephen Ronin, he is the overall leader of the Emperors Hammer.
He was, past tense Sith. He has been dead for over a hundred years now.
A hundred years, Ashura whispered softly as it was his turn to be confused. May I ask what year this is?
It is the year One Hundred and Thirty Seven After the Battle of Yavin, the Emperor replied.
Then I really have gone into the future, Ashura asked, although it was more of a rhetorical question which he didnt expect an answer from.
So youre a time traveler, Roan asked slightly amused, how did you end up here then?
Meditation, your Majesty, I was drawn here, replied Isradia knowing that none would likely believe him.
Tell me more then Sith, Fel commanded, to see there this would lead him. Ashura spent the next hour explaining everything he knew about the Emperors Hammer and its Dark Brotherhood. If he ever got back to his time, the Battlemaster was going to have to thank Dark Jedi Master Caerick and his own Master for all the stories they told of the EH and the EHDB.
You have given me much to think about, Sith, I will call for you if I wish to learn any more, Emperor Fel said. Take him back to his cell, guards.
Ashura bowed and was escorted back to his cell. He may not have learned much but he was still alive. Tell me, the Sith said to Krieg when back in his holding cell, is it wrong for me to believe that you and the rest of you silver saber wielded Jedi are neither with the Jedi Order, or that of Dark Jedi?
Ganner looked at Ashura through the energy shield that kept the Sith from escaping. You really dont have any idea, do you? Krieg looked at the two guards and pointed to the door, they both nodded and left. Since you answered all the Emperors questions, I think I can tell you a bit about the Imperial Knights and our purpose.

You did what?!? Dare said as she pushed her fellow Knight against the wall. He told him about the Imperial Knights, are you crazy Ganner?
I told him nothing he might already know, if he was a spy for the Sith, Ganner explained as he looked at Sigel. The brown haired Jedi looked into the eyes of the orange eyes of the man she pressed against the wall. You believe him, dont you? You believe he comes from the past!
Ganners muscular form pushed against the womans more petite body as he freed himself. He knew too much for it to be a trick, Sigel. The Knight ran a hand through his blonde hair and sighed. Ashura Isradia is here for a reason, what that reason is I dont know.
He looked tenderly at the female Imperial Knight, as if there was something going on between them, a struggle between loyalty and love. Trust me, my love, I would kill the Sith before he harmed the Emperor. Ganner Krieg and Sigel Dare's love for each other was a forbidden one; their loyalty to Roan Fel was always first in their minds.
Dont make me regret not having killed him, Ganner.

Ashura pondered the new found information about the Imperial Knights for along time after Krieg had left. They were an interesting concept, although probably not very different from the Grand Masters Royal Guard. Everything started with Palpatine, the Empire, the Dark Brotherhood; all spawned from the belief of what the Sith Lord had created.
Loyalty, like what the Imperial Knights had shown towards their Emperor was what was needed to found the new Sith Empire. He knew it was still out there, the Sith Empire were created on the base of what Palpatine had started. The Emperors Hammer's Dark Brotherhood had fallen, dissolved and destroyed, but his Dark Jedi Brotherhood was still alive, he could feel it.
The war between the two factions of the New Galactic Empire would leave the Galaxy weak and wanting new order. This was when the Dark Jedi Brotherhood had to be ready. This was the path he had to follow; this was why he had this vision and landed up in the future. He needed to recreate the Imperial Knights within the Dark Jedi Brotherhood, the Grand Masters loyal servants beyond the reach of petty Clan wars.
The Yuuzhan Vong had proven the Brotherhood was not invincible; Clan against Clan against Vong was not how it should have been. They should have been united, as one, perhaps then they would have shown what it meant to be Dark Jedi. Yes, loyalty was everything, and Ashura knew what he needed to do.
The Sith Battlemaster opened his eyes from where he meditated, looking directly at the two Imperial Knights standing guard. The Dark Side of the Force began to flow through his body as he channeled the raw power of hate.
Now you are going to see what a Sith Battlemaster of the Dark Jedi Brotherhood can do!

Alarms blared throughout the complex, and Sigel knew straightaway what had happened. I told you! I told you, Ganner! The female Imperial Knight then started running towards the throne room where the Emperor was currently located. I told you he was an assassin! Krieg, however, whispered to himself, No, hes going after the files.
The Imperial Knight started to run off in the other direction, as he seemed to know what this Sith was after and that it was his fault.

Ashura searched through the vast amount of data on the screen he was now looking at. It had been easy to break in as all the Imperial Knights and other guards had assumed he was going after Fel.
Gotya, Ash said to himself as he started to read through the file on the Imperial Knights. The Battlemaster knew it would be only a matter of time before he was found and downloaded the data onto a memory crystal.
I knew I would find you here, said the Imperial Knight whose humming silver saber was directed at Ashura. Atleast youre the smart one, replied Isradia as he pointed the same silver saber at Krieg.
I never should have told you about the Imperial Knights, the Dark Brotherhood is gone. Ashura, just surrender now and I promise I'll make this a clean kill.
Ashura, with saber in one hand and memory crystal in the other smiled at Ganner; his electric blue eyes looking deeply at the Jedi from behind his silvery white hair.
Yes they are, but I lied, I was never part of the Emperors Hammer Dark Brotherhood. I am a Sith Battlemaster in the Liberated Brotherhood, Quaestor of House Marka Ragnos, Clan Envoy of Naga Sadow. And my destiny has been revealed to me. I will recreate the Imperial Knights for the Grand Master. We will rebuild Palpatines dream, a stronger Empire will rise out of the rubble between you and Darth Krayt. That is the legacy that has been shown to me in this vision, the reason why I was brought here. Enjoy what time you have left, for you will know when the true heirs of the Empire shall appear.
And then it ended, like the snap of the fingers the future merged with the present, and Ashura found himself standing in his quarters, lightsaber and memory crystal still in his hands. Thus my path has been revealed, I must lay down the legacy that is to follow."

Gone?! Roan said as he seemed to breathe more easily.
Yes, Highness, I dont know how. He just disappeared. If he was a spy for Darth Krayt then he must have found a way off the planet. Krieg said as he kneeled before his Emperor, his loyalty towards Fel had deepened with his encounter with the time traveling Sith.
Ganner did not reveal Ashuras final words, or the fact that he disappeared right in front of his eyes with the complete files of the Imperial Knights in his possession. His mistake would become his burden to make sure that what the Battlemaster had said would never happen.
Very well, Ganner, keep security on high alert for the next few days, we still have that meeting with Admiral Stazi and what is left of the Galactic Alliance, if we are to defeat Krayt and bring back peace and order to the galaxy.
Yes, Highness, replied the Imperial Knight, although he would not shake what Ashura had said to him.
We will rebuild Palpatines dream, a stronger Empire will rise out of the rubble between you and Darth Krayt. Imperial Knight Ganner Krieg knew that out there in the Unknown Region of the Galaxy, waiting, watching, out of the shadows of darkness, a new terror that could crumble everything he held dear. He had to be ever vigilant against the stalkers of the night as they waited to rebuild and conquer. The Liberated Brotherhood stood ready to invade, forged by a legacy he helped a Sith Battlemaster create.

Quaestor House News
New Leadership
As you know by now a few of our members have left us for House Ludo Kressh, first being former Battleteam Leader of Night Hawks, Sith Battlemaster Ylith Atema, who has become the new Quaestor of House Ludo Kressh. As such a replacement had to be found, in which Dark Jedi Knight Jade Imperial was selected to keep going what Ylith had put in place, as well as to improve upon it.
The second member to head over to House Ludo Kressh was that of Jedi Hunter Tash Yamayura who had applied for the position of Battleteam Leader of Jade Serpents and got it.
Black Guard of the Quaestor

This begins in February and will run along side the Clan Artisan's Competition. It will be Clan wide; as all Black Guard competitions meant to be (I believe so). I have mentioned this in my last two previous reports, and now I believe it is time for me to give one lucky member of House Marka Ragnos the chance to earn this. To clarify again, for the new members who have not read my last reports, this is an unofficial title, an unofficial award for activity before being an exceptional asset to your House.
I challenge you now, members of House Marka Ragnos, that in the month of February to participate in all Battleteam, House and Clan competitions you can do; for only one of you can be named February 2008 House Champion and Son/Daughter of Ragnos (March 2008). Jedi Hunter Buddy System
Jedi Hunters of Marka Ragnos will be given the opportunity to buddy up with a member a rank or two below them (and maybe lower depending on the success of this system) to not only help and encourage in the general House activity, but to also prepare them for the responsibility of being a Master once day. Dont worry; this is nothing more then a big brother or sister keeping an eye out on our younger members.

Dlarit Special Operations Group Tarthos
Ah ha, it has returned! I thought I'd still include this section even though this report isnt being done In Character. The reason being that the Dlarit Corporation is just as important to Clan Naga Sadow as any other fictional part; it is the Clans fictional cover to go. It is in the same respect how Darth Sidious used his alter ego Supreme Chancellor Palpatine to change the Old Republic into the Galactic Empire.
What good is this? You might ask.
The simply and most straight forward answer is that its good for the fictional aspect; like run-ons or fictions. It is also a good tool for character development. I know that one of HMR members plans to bring his character back into the fold. The only suggestion I can make for anyone who wishes to use the DSOG to help develop their character is to get in contact with Xanos (aka Darth Vexatus), as from what I gather he is the brains behind it all.

Conclusion
Finally! We come to the end of this report, and I have to say as a House, we all have achieved much it may not show it in this report but we have a dedicated, decent and activity lot of members in House Marka Ragnos, were like a big cog, or something, with the little moving parts going round and round. We are only as strong as our weakest link.
As a House we need to learn our strengths and weaknesses, we need to make the most of month we have left, but to also focus on February and the upcoming Clan Artisan's Competition.
