<p> The most powerful beings to hold influence within the Brotherhood are the Sith Lords: the Dark Lord of the Sith and the Grand Masters Emeritus. They are the true power of the Star Chamber. Their words of counsel to the reigning Dark Lord are given the greatest weight and their commands are obeyed unquestioned by the Elders of the Dark Side. <p> This week has blessed us with the return of a Grand Master Emeritus. Of all the Grand Masters, very few can lay claim to accomplishments such as the creation of the Dark Council and the Shadow Academy; however, the Duke of V'Armonde can. Grand Master Paladin and his customized Ebon Staff have returned to the Dark Brotherhood. If you happen to see him (and you might now...Grand Master's are tricky that way), be sure to welcome him back. <p>

<p> Combat Master: Open for Applications: Due to that crazy and unpredictable thing called real life, Halc has decided to retire from the position of Combat Master. I'd like to thank Halc fo his hard work and dedication since taking over the job from Dalthid. Without Halc, the last two major Dark Brotherhood competitions would have suffered a great deal. I will say my official thanks in a few days :p <p> Because of Halc's retirement, Muz and I are opening up the position of Combat Master for applications.<p> Duties:<p> The Combat Master is solely responsible for the Antei Combat Centre. The Combat Centre has established itself as one of the absolute core activities that members participate in. The Combat Master is charged with the development and administration of the Centre. He works with the various Dark Council offices to ensure that the Centre is running according to the rules of the Brotherhood. He also hires, trains and keeps a full staff of members to help with various administrative tasks in the Centre. The Combat Master regularly assists the Dark Council and Clans by allowing them to run competitions in the Centre. The position itself is situated as a Society Leader, not on the Dark Council. The Combat Master reports directly to the Grand Master and Deputy Grand Master. <p> Requirements:<p> 1. Hold the rank of Sith Warrior or equivalent.

1. Have a high level of understanding of the ACC

2. Have an excellent grasp of the written word :p

3. Have the ability to work with Dark Council members to include working with the DGM and GM on an almost daily basis.

Applications<p> Applications are due to Muz and I by 21 February. Applications should include your ideas for improving the ACC, a 30/60/90 day plan, and your goals for training and maintaining a staff. I would also like to know how you plan on making the ACC a more user friendly aspect of the Dark Brotherhood. <p>

Independence Games: Warning Order: Several months ago a group of highly motivated Dark Brotherhood leaders suggested bringing back the Independence Games to celebrate our exodus from that other club. I have just received a full proposal on the competition and it will be shown to the Dark Council for review within the week. I want to thank Braecen, Lucien, Prajna, and Phoenix for their hard work and dedication in attempting to bring this competition back to the Brotherhood. I highly encourage members to take this sort of initiative and work on events that they want to see happen. It allows a variety of competitions to occur and more importantly it gives me a break (haha!). Thanks for your work guys! (Note. This competition will not go off until April!)

1 Year as Grand Master: In two weeks I will hit my 1 year mark as Grand Master. It has gone pretty fast and I still feel like a "new Grand Master". Expect a nice long report and a year in review type summary.
