Report #1 - March 3th, 2008

Just before we get started, Ill take a moment to thank everyone again for their comments. This is my first report as Consul, and heres hoping Ill be around for many more. Thanks also to Duga for being a great Consul, but I know I have a heard act to follow. Hes also given me the use of his report format, so thats just another thing I owe him
Ive more or less settled in all nice and cozy. However, it looks like itll be awhile until I have all of the House leaders around at once. Sklib has just returned to us, although Vodo is still on leave. During the course of April, both Dinaari summit will not be around all that much, due to exams. Chaos and myself will look after things, if anyone has any questions or concerns.
Been playing around with our new website (everyone should register!) and I put up a few plans and projects I hope to be looking at. You can find that list by Clicking here . If anyone wishes to get involved in anything, just shoot me an e-mail
With Exodus Day coming up very shortly, we should see a few things being released. We will have a special issue of the Taldryan Times, so get your submissions in soon! The Independence Games are also supposed to be released at that time, and the Seals of Loyalty shall be handed out. More news as it comes, so keep a look out! Due to the IGs, which is a DB-wide event, I wont be doing any large-scale competitions.

Our very own Kaek becomes the new (old) MAA! Everyone send him your congratulations (and sympathies) on getting the job.
The Deputy Grand Master and Headmaster each released reports, so go and check them out.
Naga Sadow has done a little switcharoo, with Ashia taking over the job of Consul and Trev becoming PCON

Congrats go out to Vodo for placing in the CoJ website competition. As you can see, a lot of competitions are about to end. Ill send out another e-mail with all of the brand-new competitions that will be released in April

For older members and younger members, please check out the Reflections of the Past event. Its open to you to submit your thoughts on how far we have come as a Clan and/or a Brotherhood since the Exodus, looking back to what you where doing at that time, or just anything related to looking back really. For those that havent been here that long, highlight the good things youve seen during your time. These can be in character or just a serious look at the subject, and will be featured in a special Tal Times release at the beginning of April. Doesnt take much, just a couple well-done paragraphs could work perfectly.

As Ive already mentioned the new Independence Games will be released in April. This will be a DB-wide competition, with a number of varying events. There should be something for everyone, so I hope to see everyone jump in and do what they can for Taldryan. It will also be a great opportunity for many of you to earn medals and promotions!

Ive also seen a number of people getting into Shadow Academy courses, especially Havoc whos been going through them left and right. Keep up the activity, everyone!

Also, great job to Vlad for picking up an Anteian Cross for his Quaestor work, while Duga and Mav each picked up a Dark Cross for their work on the Appeals Panel. Well done, guy!

GameTrailers.com has a series going called <a href= http://www.gametrailers.com/game/6389.html>Star Wars Retrospective which has started out with a look at some very old games, the first Star Wars games to make it out. Interesting stuff, Ill keep watching for updates.

Time flies by sometimes, here we are in the middle of March. Keep on being active, keep on enjoying your time with friends, and do the best with life that you can.
