Introduction:

_Corin paced to and fro as he listened to the Obelisk Quaestor, Yzarc Rellik Kaeth. The Templar sat behind his desk with his hands crossed in front of him. He spoke in a slow, monotonous voice, “since the Vong Invasion, the Souls of Darkness have provided the sole protection for the Quaestor, and now that you’re sister has resigned…” he paused and looked at the Sith as he stopped his pacing, “I expect you to continue to provide the same protection for me.”

Corin turned to face the blue-haired human and simply smiled. “I am loyal to the Quaestor, whomever it may be…you shall have no worries, friend.”

Yzarc seemed satisfied and smiled, “Since your former leader, Brent, has become your Aedile, the Souls of Darkness have been left without a leader…”

Corin nodded; he knew where this was going.

“And you have been a valued member…your sister trusted you, and so shall I. I would like you to take up the position of Sith Commander of the Souls of Darkness.”

Corin bowed slowly and replied, “So it shall be, my Lord.”_

A New Leader:

Yup, that’s right! As Brent takes the position as Aedile, Qua. Yzarc leaves me as the Commander of the Elite battle team, Souls of Darkness. I am happy to accept this position, and I hope the current members will approve of my leadership.

Independence Games:

In an act to establish its own identity and defer from the affiliation with the Emperors Hammer, the Dark Brotherhood gained it’s independence in 19ABY in an event knows as the Exodus. To celebrate and commemorate this great event, the brotherhood is holding a DB-wide event known as the Independence Games, or the IG.

This is a wonderful opportunity to not only get active and let your leaders know that you are still alive, but it’s a great way to getting yourself known throughout the DB, and it comes with rewards such as shinies of all types! Some of you have alright begun the games, and I applaud you for that. I have done a few myself, and I expect every one of you to at least LOOK at the website, which is below….

Read over the rules, and participate! Participating in comps. like these can not only boost your activity and earn you shinies, and can also get you promoted. So, don’t make me say it again: participate, participate, participate! And that is all!

Recent News:

Oh my, where should I start? Well, first off, Rasilvenaira, my sister, and your (former) Quaestor has resigned from her post after a time of great leading. She was a great leader, and still is now even though she is no longer the QUA. In her place is left Yzarc Rellik Kaeth. I am confident that Yzarc will also be a great leader, and if he’s not, I shall pound him until he is! Just kidding….or am I?

This leaves Brent “Archangel” as Caliburnus’ new Aedile. Congrats both of you!

The Grand Master and his staff are still currently working on updating the ACC to allow Force powers and stuff. This is very exciting, and I can’t wait to finally try it out.

Also, Sarin has also issued lightsabers to younger ranks now. We will see where this leads.

All in all, the DB is still a flurry of activity. So, why don’t you go and participate? Huh? pokes the Souls of Darkness with his lightsaber hilt

Battle Team News:

The Specializations for each Battle Team member are being reworked a little, but not too drastically changed. We are adding two specializations that our new member, Impetus, will be using. And these are: Intel-ops, and Morale Sustenance Specialist.

Here’s a brief description of each specialization:

Intel-Ops specialists: The role of the Intel operations specialist is a very important one. Working closely with the Scout and Close-Combat Specialist, an Intel-Ops specialist’s job is to take prisoners and enemies alive for interrogation. Without an Intel-Ops agent, some missions would be extremely difficult. The skills in the Intel-Ops specialists’ arsenal are agility, speed, and an amount of mercy. Another name for Intel-Ops is Non-lethal Ops.

Morale Sustenance Specialist: Colloquially referred to as Entertainer, the MSS is the one in charge of the team’s morale, happiness, unity and fighting spirit. Typically an attractive female, this specialist must be well versed in multiple forms of entertainment for the entire team. The Morale Sustenance Specialist must also have a good understanding of people, as they are the one who must upkeep the emotional wellbeing of the team, by taking care of such duties as Conflict Mediation, and simply being a friend for the team. By keeping the team spirit, morale and happiness high, the ‘Entertainer’s’ work can have vast results on the battlefield.

The above specializations are still being discussed over and fine-tunes, but I expect to see them in use as we roleplay.

Speaking of roleplaying, I’m thinking about putting our writing skills to use and start a Battle Team-wide runon. I understand that the Independence games are upon us, so I may skip off until they are done. For this, though, I need ALL of your ideas. This includes whether we should do it now or later and what plot we should follow. This is a chance for YOU, the members, to have something to do with the Team as a WHOLE. E-mail ANY suggestions, however stupid they may sound, to me at [Log in to view e-mail addresses]. Please, and thank you!

I want to thank you all for reading this report. It took time to put together at first, but it’s quite easy once you get the hang of it. I hope you will participate in AS MANY comps. as you can, an I REALLY look forward to seeing your ideas about BT Comps.

If you need advice on your entries for the Independence Game, I’d be more than happy to review them. Just send them to my at the above-mentioned e-mail address. Thank you, and peace out!

Born of darkness, forged in war - no mercy, no regrets
