The mist swirled out of the cave systems mouth as the warm air from within Crystallized in the Freezing air of Caina. Deep within the caves a terraformer lay destroyed it's Vong owners lay dead. Their death the result of an attack on the hideout by the combined efforts of the Blades of Chaos and Banshee brigade. Three members now emerged from the swirling mists. Robin and Korvyn taking the lead, Sabers held in hand ready to fend off any attack that came their way. Behind them Korvyn's Master Carried the dead body of Tashlan. It was a somber sight to the rest of the strike team as they said no word until Cethgus had laid the body in the shuttle Weapons placed across his chest.

Walking back outside Cethgus and Korvyn began to debrief the others. Tashlan being the only major casualty however, Korvyns Student had been injured grievously and would be out of action for quite an extended period of time. Dismissing the others Cethgus turned to Korvyn and placed a hand on his shoulder.

"You fought well today." Cethgus said trying to sound proud and upbeat.

"Not well enough Master" The Sergeant replied as he stared at the shuttle holding his former Executive officers Corpse.

"He died with Honor and gave his life for House Dorimad Sol, A sacrifice he made willingly."

Still looking at the shuttle Korvyn could only nod his head in agreement.

Service before self means the giving of oneself for the greater benefit of the group. In our day and time we see this is exceedingly rare and society promotes a what's in it for me attitude. Being rewarded for hard work is all well and good but the greatest reward is to see others enjoy and benefit from our hard work.
