Sith Commander Report

Dark Greetings my fellow team mates.

There are a few things I'd like to tell all of you in this email. I'll let them out pointwise:

1.) Our fiction project, the long-term run on, has started here: http://www.darkjedibrotherhood.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=5248

As of now BF, Huldrcyh, I, and Vai have posted.

Here, I'd like to point out that I really want to make this start good. And I want continuity. Not just with the storyline, but continuity from post to post. Pick up the thread from where the last person stopped. Do not be abrupt. And this also goes for the end of the post. Make it "continuable", so to speak. Make it easier for the next person to pick up the thread and continue. This makes it easier for the writers and the readers.

If you find that the person after whom you have started writing has not established a proper continuity, write a small paragraph which makes it easier to continue.

We all know that most writers in the run on write only about themselves. Let's try to write about other characters as well, after our introductions. We are a team, guys. We should know a lot about our [fictional] brothers-in-arms. Use the wiki. Ask the person involved. Be active! :)

2.) Sato has officially given me powers to give you Sapphire Blades. OK. No. Not Sapphire Blades :P BUT, he has told me to give you all lots of shinies. I need opportunities, though. And I understand that all of you need opportunities. While participation in the RO will not garner you instant shinies, consistent, and good writing in it will definitely have you recognised and awarded in due time.

I have in mind some comps that I will be organising in the future. I'd be in discussion with BF to give you all fun writing comps to do.

3.) AWOL check in the House. Have you mailed Sato, Welshy and Huldrcyh yet? Go check Sato's latest report for more details.

4.) You have to reply to this email. We had decided on this hadn't we? A compulsory email every week to which we have to reply. To keep in touch and what not. And, I haven't heard from you Karel. Where are you?

5.) Have a nice week! :)
