Announcement 5/16/2008; Ky & Cipher Resignation: Ky awarded Clan Honorific.

With the conclusion of the Independence Games, we must see two of our prominent leaders step down. The good news is that we are not saying goodbye, but 'until next time' to these two distinguished individuals. And know that their work has not gone unnoticed or without reward. For both of these individuals shall hold a position of honor within our Clan.

Cipher, former Quaestor of Exar Kun, shall be honored as one of the House's most stable leaders. During a time of great change and reform she stuck to her guns and brought the house through to a better time, a better era. Her dedication and adaptability far outstripped my own time as Quaestor of Exar Kun. Additionally, I will honor her with a seat amongst the Council of the Wise. Here she will join Vessicant in the development of our Clan's future.

Ky, former Proconsul of Plagueis, shall be honored as one of our clan's greatest. And this speaks volumes when we have had masterful writer Jonaleth Isradia, Head Master Aabsdu Dupar and residing Grand Master, Sarin (Aristan Dantes). Ky has been, in one form or another, a leader within this clan for the past two years. His work, his sacrifices, have not gone unnoticed by his peers... or his Consul. He, like Cipher, will join Vessicant on the Council of the Wise - guiding the Clan from an assistant position. But he will do so with an addition to his name. From this day forward, he shall be known as Ky Terrak di Plagia; honored member of Clan Plagueis. Enjoy your new clan honorary, Ky.

Where do we go now? Rilkel has willingly accepted the position of Quaestor of Exar Kun. Generally, I would open the position to applications, but Cipher was confident that it should be Rilkel - and no one else - to assume the mantle of Exar Kun. Congratulations, Rilkel; Imperium Et Fidelitas. As for the position of Proconsul... I will be making an announcement this weekend. I will be opening the position to applications... keep your eyes peeled on the DB News Page. The position of House Exar Kun Aedile will be filled based off of the Proconsul applications; meaning, the next best candidate will assume the duties of HEK AED.
