Sith Commander Report

A solitary figure walked slowly down the halls of the Dark Tower, somewhat illuminated by the dull light provided by the torches hanging on the stone walls. The large and menacing structure, located on Kapsina, served as headquarters to Clan Plagueis, and also to House Exar Kun for a time. Speculation dictated that the Summits of Plagueis and Exar Kun were conferring on the notion of appointing a team to design a new headquarters, and that the House wouldn’t have to stay confined to hastily prepared quarters and offices within the Dark Tower much longer.

Nevertheless, the form seemingly glided down the stone halls gracefully, traveling to his destination with a purpose. The figure arrived at one of the large wooden doors in short order, flowing black cloak flourishing slightly as he came to a stop. The man removed his large hands from the folds of his robe, rapping his knuckles thrice upon the entrance to one of the standard dormitories.

After a moment, the door opened, scraping rather loudly against the stony floor, to reveal another mysterious figure. Garbed in a robe which denoted his status as an Equite, with light purple trim dispersed throughout the vestment, stood a denizen of the Dark Tower, member of House Exar Kun.

“Famosus Aspicio,” said the cloaked form which had just arrived, in a rather distinctive voice. “Long time no see.”

As the speaking man lowered his black hood, a smirk couldn’t help but creep across the Krath Priest’s face. “Dismal Dupar. I could say the same thing.”

“Come in,” spoke Famosus, motioning his hands inside the room.

“I’m afraid I can’t, old friend, I’m to be prompt – I have a meeting to go to shortly.” This received a nod from the Krath Equite.

“What are you here to discuss, then?”

“Quaestor Rilkel requested me to deliver this to you,” said Dismal, reaching within the folds of his robe once more, procuring a small piece of flimsiplast. The Sith gently placed the note into Famosus’ outstretched hand. “Basically, I’m to inform you that during a recent training exercise, the Blades of Kun had a rather misfortunate accident. Most all of them died.”

A look of surprise was what appeared on the Priest’s countenance after hearing his fellow Kunian speak. “Another fatal incident involving the Blades. A shame…”

“That it is,” responded the Warrior, shaking his head.. “Those who survived were consolidated into Exar’s Shadow.”

“How exactly does this pertain to me?” asked Famosus, looking at Dismal.

“That’s what Syphoc asked me to tell you. You are charged with leading Exar’s Shadow.”

“What of that Hunter who was commanding the team? Is he not well?”

With that, the Dupar sighed. “It is the Summits’ collective opinion that a Journeyman just isn’t cut out for rebuilding two battleteams. Hence is why they call on you.”

“I shall speak with Quaestor Rilkel immediately. Thank you for informing me, brother.”

Dismal nodded. The two had a unique thing in common: they both were trained by the same master, Krath Archpriest Robinson Scorpius. Thus, they considered themselves to be ‘Brothers-in-Arms’.

“Now, I believe I must get going. Good luck in your new position, and May the Force be with you.”

“With you as well,” said the two in departing salutations, as the Sith Warrior began walking back down the halls again. This began a new era in the histories of House Exar Kun, and Exar’s Shadow. An era of greatness had started.

To kick it off, I'd like to thank Dismal for putting together this bit of BT development, pertaining to the shift in power from my predecessors to me. Just an example of what you guys can do whenever you take initiative. We have a lot of things to cover, so let's hop on it.

A very (VERY) old member of our house, and former Quaestor, has taken up the post as Aedile. We're very glad to welcome back Godo Nurok to HEK and I'm sure he'll be pushing alot of us to either work harder or give up and just start drinking wine. (He participates in the latter of the two.)
Our Knight Class Envoy, Callus Bo'Amar, has mega failed this week by reaching the rank of Obelisk Prelate. Way to suck it up :P
CoFo had a birthday! If you didn't get your turn with the paddle, send him an email. I'm sure there's some belated rule where you can at least get half of your thrashings in.
Alot of competitions in! Remember you have until 11:59 EST 6/2/08 to submit to the BT ES Logo Competition! I want a submission from all of my members! Hop on it guys!
Competitions:

Please note that competing in these competitions is one of the best ways to gain recognition from your superiors, and most of them don't take very much of your time. So get those submissions in!
