I apologize profusely for the delay in releasing this report. I was incredibly busy with final exams.

The Independence Games have been over for awhile, and we now await results! Unfortunately, I cannot award you guys for your participation in the IGs, until those results are released.

As all of you should know, House Acclivis Draco has had a very busy week, as well.

Without further ado, I would like to welcome you to today's Revvy Report. This one will be unusually short because I wrote it in a few minutes (and there wasn't that much to report on), but the next one should be much longer.

HOUSE NEWS:

1) Tra'an Reith has been appointed House Rollmaster. Congrats! Hopefully, this will be the first of many positions for you.

2) Exodius has decided to resign from Aedile due to "real-life" problems. Timbal has replaced him.

3) Exodius, Uzbad, and Yeldarb have been awarded Steel Crosses! Congrats!

4) I was promoted to Krath Pontifex. Yay!

5) Congratulations to Tra'an on his promotion to Dark Jedi Knight!

6) Tra'an has completed a House-wide AWOL check. Toivious, Makurth "Zak" Mandalore, dark lightsaber, Syroch, and Maethorir have been transferred to the Rogues.

7) Anga was promoted to KP!

HOUSE DIRECTION:

So, I was out practicin' my J today, and I realized that I could never make a shot unless I really, REALLY focused on the one point that I wanted to hit, whether that was over the backboard or into a wall. I realized this after I made seven swishes in a row (I couldn't make more because I got distracted by animals running in the woods and decided to ride one like Harry Potter and Buckbeak) from the free-throw line.

I know that I have said that "being the number one House in the Brotherhood" is our goal, but that seems a bit broad, doesn't it? This large, very general and unspecific, goal is like saying that you want to be Kobe Bryant. You obviously can't become Kobe immediately. There are some steps that you would have to follow, like painting your skin or growing several more inches or practicing your jump shot until you hit every shot that you make.

How can we focus on "being the number one House in the Brotherhood"? What are the actual steps into becoming number one?

The first thing that it starts with is the leaders. Fortunately, Acclivis Draco is led by a group of very compentent leaders who have consistently shown the initiative, perspective, and creativity that it takes to lead the House. We, Timbal, Tra'an, Kara, Anga, and I, must be the ones to show you how and what needs to be done. We are the role models, and I say that we're doing a pretty good job, so far, and taking into account that both Timbal and Tra'an have not yet been in their positions for more than one month.

Now that we have able leaders, we need to start breaking down the steps. It's much easier to go up stairs than it is an intensely steep ramp, right? And, our destination is too high to jump all the way up there.

Here's what I came up with:

  1. Grow in numbers.
  2. Finish projects.
  3. Always have at least two competitions running.
  4. Be "Intelligent-Active" or "Intelligent-Lazy."

Grow in numbers. As you all should know, House Acclivis Draco is now the smallest of the three Houses that comprise Clan Scholae Palatinae. In fact, we are the third smallest House (Houses Gladius and Cestus of Clan Tarentum are smaller) of the entire Dark Jedi Brotherhood (there are fourteen Houses in total). I don't know if House Acclivis Draco is suffering due to the relative unpopularity of Star Wars or if we simply do not have enough recruitment efforts. I challenge everyone to go out there and spread the word about the Dark Jedi Brotherhood (remember to give people your dossier number so that they can list you as a recruiter)!

Finish projects. This is mainly my fault. There are several reasons for this: my laziness, my inability to delegate effectively, and my overzealousness at the beginning of my tenure. When I became Quaestor, I immediately set to work and began several projects that were simply too difficult to juggle all at once. A couple of the larger projects became team efforts between myself and some of our House's most active members, but those teams quickly fell apart due to inactivity, or real-life problems. Throughout the summer, I will be working my fingers off to complete at least half of the projects that are still in progress. Any help would be greatly appreciated, so contact me.

Always have at least two competitions running. Again, this is mainly my fault. I have relied upon the Clan Summit and the Wards to design Clan-wide competitions for every member of Scholae Palatinae to compete in. Don't worry, I will be working on getting more House-wide competitions up and running soon. I think that it might be a good idea for Timbal and I to alternate months...

Be "Intelligent-Active" or "Intelligent-Lazy." I would prefer all of us to be incredibly active and intelligent in our activity, instead of being incredibly lazy, but intelligent in our sparse activity. "Intelligent-Active" people are highly valued on teams and make the team actually look like they're doing something. They try to do everything that they can well and intelligently, and they try to do a lot of things. My descriptions are kind of bad, but I hope you get the picture.
