Obelisk Sergeant Report

Sergeant Ronovi Tavisaen reporting for her second BTL report! And no, this time it's not in story format. This'll be a brief report, as I'm doing my best to write everything in as few words as needed.

News

The Clan Competition, "To the Core," has ended, and awards for competitions and overall placings have been given. However, I'm not aware of any of you actually submitting anything to the comp, regardless of placing. If any of you submitted a piece, please notify me as soon as possible.

Anshar has written the final fiction piece for the comp, which I ask you to read at http://www.darkjedibrotherhood.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=5264. This helps set up the next Clan Competition, which Anshar has implied will happen some time in August.

Accomplishments

Balia Donos has been chosen as our new Flight Leader! That means he is responsible for carrying out specific orders as I see fit. Let's welcome him into this new position.

Congratulations to Balia Donos for completing two SA courses: "Astronomy" and "Lightsaber Studies"!

Congratulations also to Severon Vercingetorix for completing the SA course "Dark Brotherhood Basics"!

This is a great start, guys: Now all we need is a few more of you doing the same.

Arcano Signum comp

While I initially stated that the comp would be announced in this report, I have been horribly busy IRL with work, family, friends, and the holidays. Therefore, I have unfortunately not set up the competition just yet. However, I am formulating many ideas in my head concerning what sort of things you'll be doing in said competition, and I hope that I can write it out and set it up on the following weekend, at the latest. You will all receive an e-mail announcing the start of the competition once it has been drafted.

Want a Promotion?

Get active! Submit to House, Clan, and Brotherhood competitions; take SA courses, visit IRC, and get to know your higher-ups. If you have done any of these, let me, your Rollmaster, your Aedile, and your Quaestor know so we can document your activity. A promotion is a hard-earned achievement, so you must work, work, work to get it.
