Hi folks, welcome to the show! This one's a bit overdue, but I took an LOA a week back. I had a blast.

Anyhow, back to the report.

News:

This will be my last one as Aedile of HLK. I was going to step down last month, but Faeril asked me to stay on a bit so I did. Now it's time to give someone else a chance. What will I do to keep busy you may ask? Well, various projects here and there. Like wiki pages, helping audit/edit SA courses (I just did 2), and I applied to be a judge in the ACC. We'll see what happens. In the meantime, I intend to be available to help mentor the new Aedile if they need it.

Comps coming up?

Many ideas are bouncing around about battleteam competitions. Look for some neat stuff to come soon, including (I hope) an ACC comp in the clan halls run by yours truly. My last few competitions went pretty well, so that's good. There's sure to be a juicy runon in there, so keep posted.

This was from the CNS times a while back. It's about the most dreaded weapon that Macron wields- the cat-chaku. I personally use a Siamese version.

The Art of the Cat-Chaku

Today I'd like to tell you guys about something cool. Not as cool as taking a leak in dad's bed, but hey. I'm talking about the dreaded cat-chaku.

This neat little weapon is made of two or more cats tied together by the tails. These can be of any style. Common ones are Persian, Tabby, Orange Cat, Maine Coon, British Colorpoint and Calico. For obvious reasons, there are no Manx cat-chaku. Duh.

Rumor has it that there exists a three-sectional Black Cat staff, but I've never seen one. The alley-cat model is pretty easy to acquire for the beginner. Later more advanced students may use other makes. The dreaded Siamese-flail is the highest form of the art, as those are some mean sons of bitches. Stay away from me, man. You guys are freakin' nuts.

So, my dad takes me and a pal and whips us around. It's great fun and we get to tear the unholy crap out of things, like the leather chair I did last year. Oooh, yeah that was too cool. Boy was he pissed at me. Anyhow, once the teeth and claws dig into your opponent, it's all over for them.

You can make the cat-chaku more deadly by adding a little plain water. It really gets the ole fur flying. The yucky water really makes me get mad, and the claws come out for real at that point dude. Wow.

So in short, you should get a pair today! And I want some catnip!
