<font size="6">_A _</font>jolly holly day to you all,

I don't know about you guys and gals but I am feeling rather upbeat, partly because I get to finally return to my city appartment after house sitting these past two weeks but also because the feud is very nearly over. It's been a bit of a running joke and I am sure my reports probably haven't done one jot to raise its serious profile. Infact I am probably doing the proverbial kick it whilst it's down routine.

But never mind that, what the devil is going on with the DB servers? Wow! In all the years I've been dawdling about its hallowed halls I have never seen such an assault. Needless to say Jac as the unenviable task of fixing the problem, preventing it from happening again and finding out the source.

Despite the trials and tribulations of the Brotherhood I can also add that this is the worst summer, ever! I have seen some grim weather before but not like this. The sun seems to have gone on a holiday all of its own, replaced instead with Noah's ark style apolcalyptic rain! Ducks are about the only ones enjoying proceedings.

*War of Ascention - On hold for just a little bit longer! *

With the feud finally kicking the bucket we can expect the War of Ascention AKA WoA to resume shortly. I sense a WoA themed report coming up...

Dark Jedi Brotherhood - Defeated AGAIN!

Just as we were all emerging from our bunkers, tin helmets held loosely in hand we find ourselves scattering for cover once more. I dare say those in the know are busying themselves fixing the problem. My solution, and it's a universal one, is to kick it. Once more I suggest we all sit in front of our PC's checking for viruses, spyware etc etc. Also make sure your software is fully updated, failing that we can all give up our life of technology and computers and instead live on a remote mountain surviving off berries.

A friend of mine recently decided to fight a big company, he hadn't as it happened done anything wrong when speaking from the point of view of morality, quite the opposite. But the eyes of law can be fickle and sometimes even though you are right, the letter of the law deems you to be in the wrong.

In some parts of the world the british legal system is looked upon as a shining example to be followed, but as my friend learnt to his cost and a very expensive bill that's not always the case. This sort of got me thinking, is the law an ass? So I did a little hunting and I found out one or two surprising facts.

The city of London has it's fair share of the weird and wonderful. For instance if your a taxi (cab) driver it is illegal to transport rabid dogs or corpses. Of course this begs the question, other than not wanting to break the law who would really want to willingly have a dog foaming at the mouth sitting next to you?

Another superb little law and one I must confess to breaking, is that once I hit the age of 14 I am obligated to practice with a longbow everyday for two hours. Not convinced I have time in my busy schedule to go out into the wilds...well, not wilds more likely a busy road to practice with a longbow. Still, might be worth revising that point of view as the next law demonstrates, perhaps I should? In York I am legally allowed to murder a scotsmen so long as its within the cities ancient walls AND more crutially they are armed with a bow and arrow.

_L_ittle unfortunate with the web site but it can't be helped. Things will be returning to normal shortly and we can get on with having fun. There's only a couple more days left to get your submissions in for the feud so keep that in mind. Also check your computers for viruses just to be safe. Keep up the good work and here's hoping we have some good weather :)
