[The Sword's Sheath, 1130 hours, conference room 12]

"Welcome home, everyone." An older gentleman in gray robes with red trim stood at the head of a conference room table. The table stood within the hollowed out asteroid, The Sword's Sheath, which served as the home base for House Gladius. The men and women gathered there looked well rested and clean for the first time in months. The fake New Republic uniforms which had tricked the authorities into allowing them to land on Prakith had finally been abandoned for an array of robes and combat gear much more suitable for a room full of Dark Jedi. The lights were turned all the way up and the Aedile at the head of the table took a moment to make eye contact with everyone else in the room before beginning the morning's announcements.

At a glance, this group of people looked very similar to the group who had last met in this room three months before. The differences caused the Aedile to grind his teeth involuntarily. He knew that beneath the hood pulled low over Ronovi Tavisaen's eyes was a cybernetic implant over her missing eye. He could plainly see many other scars and injuries amongst these warriors; things that could be hidden by a hot shower and clean clothes, but could never be completely healed.

Three young men in Apprentice's robes stood quietly near the back of the room. Their shuttles had come in while the rest of the House had been away aboard the Doomsday and the Renegade. Their eyes wandered across the faces of their new compatriots, and they nervously shifted their weight from side to side. There were empty seats around the table, but these three seemed unable or unwilling to disturb these hardened veterans by taking their seats. They tried their best to melt into the shadows in the corner of the room.

"You there, in the back. Apprentices Raidan Vanda, Arias Mortensen, and Gallor. Please come forward and introduce yourselves to your House."

The three figures shuffled forward, their hands clasped nervously behind their backs.

"You have completed your Initiate's training at the Shadow Academy. You have been promoted to the rank of Apprentice and transported here to the Sword's Sheath. The Headmaster has seen fit to make you members of House Gladius in Clan Tarentum. Next week you will take your seats promptly and not cower in the shadows like mice. You will find that the members of this House are willing to assist you in your training, but you must show enough initiative to take it."

The Aedile removed a flask from a pocket in his robe, and took a sip before continuing the meeting.

"Ladies and gentlemen, I am proud to announce that Ronovi Tavisaen has been accepted as the new Aedile for House Cestus. She displayed an uncommon valor in our last mission, and her leadership ability has certainly not gone unnoticed. We will be sorry to see her go, but this is a great opportunity for her and I feel we would be much worse off as a Clan to keep a rising star from continuing to her apex. I look forward to working with Ronovi in the future, and I hope that we as a House can live up to the standards which she has set in her time here with us."

[OOC Notes]

The website is back down again. Nobody knows when it will be back. Now that the Clan competition is over and school is starting for many of you, it may be time to take a breather. If you're looking for something to do, the message boards and the wiki are still working just fine. Ronovi's wiki page just earned her a Dark Side Scroll, and can make a great example of what a top notch wiki page looks like. If yours isn't as good as hers, consider spending some time on it.

For those of you in the Arcano Signum: Ronovi has agreed to continue her duties as Battle Team Leader until the web site is back up and she can officially be moved over to House Cestus. She and I have discussed who is to replace her as BTL, but I am waiting to get confirmation from Apollo before I announce who it is.

We have gained a number of new members lately, but most of them have been awfully quiet. If any of you are interested in finding a Master to help guide you, please contact me by replying to this report and I will help you find somebody. The Master/Student Program (MSP) is by far the best way to become successful in the Dark Brotherhood. There is no substitute for having an experienced person there specifically to help you be successful.

Please remember to let me know of anything you do that might count as activity. Don't worry about bothering me too much; it's my job to keep track of this stuff. Keep in mind that if you do something but you don't win any medals for it, I won't know about it unless you tell me. That includes ACC, wiki stuff, as well as submitting to competitions. Awards are tied to participation and it all still counts even if you don't win.
