Phoenix Report - 09.13.2008

Hey everybody. I know that my activity as a BTL has been pretty ass-tastic lately, but I'm going to write that off to the site being down. So, let's see if we can get some things moving, shall we?

Phoenix News

With the dissolution of HoA and the shipping of its members off into Phoenix and Hex, I've taken over the role of Phoenix Tetrarch. Thanks to Zasati for taking the reins while Narad was away, and sorry to bump you out of your job, dear. <3 Because I don't have roster backups for before the site went down, I don't actually have any idea who came here with me from HoA. Does it matter? Not really. We're all here now, so let's be active.

I'm going to have a competition coming out as soon as the MAA's office approves them. It's a short fiction competition to get everyone's feet wet, and I'd REALLY REALLY like to see some participation in it. More details on that when it's actually approved.

Ektrosis News

Nothing's really been happening in the House since the site was down, but now that it's back up (yay) we're going to see some activity picking up. Right? :P

There ARE, however, several Ektrosis competitions going on right now. I will post links to those in the Competitions section of the report.

Also, Vodo is running the Ektrosis Run-On Course. E-mail him, Sklib, Alanna and Sidarace to sign up. This is looking to be a great course and will come in very handy when the GJW rolls around, so that our ROs can kick ass even more. :P I will be signing up. You should too.

Taldryan News

The big news is that Halc stepped down from CON due to real life concerns. Sorry to see you go, Halc, and thanks for everything while you've been here.

The next Tal Times is coming out in early October, so if you have any submissions left, get them in! Check out the Tal Times section of www.taldryan.net if you don't know what the Tal Times are. Since Halc is gone, send your submissions to Chaos.

DB News

The website is back up. Jac, Kaek and the rest of the people helping them are awesome.

Because of the site being down, Raken is extending his fiction competitions until the end of September. That gives everyone about two weeks to write something and submit it. I'll post the links below.

GJW Teaser Trailer and Plot Updates have been released. The Teaser Trailer is actually kinda cool, and the plot update is keeping me interested. Go read it if you haven't already.
