Quaestor Report #1 - 10.12.08

Welcome to the first of many Quaestor Reports for Galeres. I'm happy with what I've seen in my first week here, but I hope to see more as time goes on. Take your example from some of those mentioned later in this report, even a bit of activity is good. What we need to be looking forward to is the Great Jedi War in January, and we need to prepare as much as we need to watch. I know a lot of people think that it's not for a few months yet, and we've got time. I, however, know that Rome wasn't built in a day, and neither is success in the GJW. We all need to build up for it so to speak, start getting active now. If we leave it all to the last minute, we won't perform as well as we should. Food for thought, everyone.

<li>Looks like the DB site is back and functioning, having seemingly overcome attacks with a new firewall. However, the configuration of said firewall system is fairly restrictive at this point, so if you're using the site and get an error, make sure to mail it to Jac post haste.</li>

<li>The new appeals panel has been chosen, and the members are Prelate Vladet Xavier, Warlord Jonuss Rai, and Dark Jedi Master Syn Kaek.</li>

Final Thoughts

The two things I'd like to highlight are Clan promotion guidelines and Shadow Academy Degrees. On promotion guidelines, if you're not a Dark Jedi Knight or above, you should know these by heart. You can find them here, and should focus your activities to those outlined here. Your goal should be to be a DJK, and the faster the better. As far as the SA Degrees, I would highly recommend perusing these if you're doing SA Courses. A couple of them are fairly easy to earn, and if you're doing SA stuff anyway... well, you get the idea. You can find the requirements for them here, and I'd say try to get History, Flight, and Philosophy as they're simple to put together.
