-- Lots of stuff in development by the Clan Summit right now. Be prepared for A LOT of competitions, ranging from the tiny caption contests to large, 2nd or 3rd level crescent competitions!

-- If you've got any ideas for a great TT article (humorous, serious, whatever), go ahead and submit it to the Clan Summit and Vodo. Vodo is the new Tal Times editor and will be compiling all the materials people submit to make one awesome TT. The deadline is getting closer, so submit those articles! (You'll get rewarded too!)

-- As details from Sarin and Raken continue to leak every so often, let's be prepared to face the oncoming threats of the other Brotherhood Clans in the next Great Jedi War come winter. Stay tuned for the aforementioned competitions the Clan Summit will be putting out for everyone to have a go at

-- As always, the Taldryan website (www.taldryan.net) is up all the time even when the Brotherhood's main site is down, so if you're looking for competition ideas or just want to take a look at our history, go for it. Who knows? Maybe there are some hidden goodies on the site that only the most observant can recognize...

-- Remember to talk to your leaders! If you have a question, ask your Battleteam Leader. If they don't know they'll take it up with the Aedile, etc. People shouldn't really be posting on the Taldryan mailing list unless they're thank yous, congratulations for awards and promotions, or condolences for sad news. The Summit is there to help you, so use them!

-- TAL INITIATIVE: Email Chaos and I with an idea of what your absolute favorite part of the DB is. This could be gaming (specify the game), fiction, poetry, ACC, IRC, generic competitions, pretending to be a Dark Jedi... whatever. Just let us know so we can tailor our plans to your interests.

Alright ladies and gents, time to get serious. Activity has been a little lacking lately, and the Summit is doing everything we can to correct that. Chaos and I are trying a new approach by throwing as many competitions out at everyone as we can, that way everyone has an opportunity to participate in whatever realm of the DB they like most. If you anyone has any ideas about something they want to see happen, feel free to approach any Summit member at both a House or Clan level. Don't think that only Summit members get to run competitions, nothing looks better on a promotion request than having run competitions from a non-leadership spot... basically on your own!

I've got a pretty decent-sized competition for the entire Clan in the works, and I think everyone will enjoy it as there's a little something-something for winners (perhaps a permanent spot in Taldryan history?!) Anyways, let's pump up the activity and get a little excited -- once you start it'll be hard to stop, I guarantee it.
