Banshee Brigade BTL Report (v. 3)
Sitting down at his desk and looking around him, Reiden smiled. He had finally gotten his mounds of paperwork done and was rightly relieved to be done with it, for the moment anyway. On top of that, he was enjoying his new robes, though they really needed to be worn in more; they were a bit stiff and, very slightly, itchy, but that was no bother to him - or at least it wasn't at the front of his mind. Knowing that he had little downtime these days, the Obelisk decided to check if he had any new mail messages -- to his surprise, he did! And it was from an old friend too, Korvyn, the former Rollmaster of Dorimad Sol. Letting out a quick chuckle, he opened up the message: "Congrats Reiden. Took you long enough! Try not to let the power go to your head - people don't like that much - and try not to over step your boundaries - people hate that too ya know! Anyway, congrats and keep up the good work!" Apparently Korvyn had somehow heard the news...but how? 'Of course, someone could have told him, but who?' he thought to himself, then laughed, 'Must have been Robin. She's always got some way of communicating with Korvyn.' He was about to get to work once again when a hurried knock came at his door. Sighing, he set his work aside and waved his hand, removing the lock from the door.
"Yes? Come in," he said. He laughed as he saw who it was.
"Oi, Reiden! I just heard the good news!" said Koskian d'Tana, grinning like a beggar that just stumbled onto a million credits.
"Bloody hell! How does everyone hear about this so quickly anyway - especially you?" Reiden replied.
"Hmm...well, let's just say a little birdie told me, eh?" the d'Tana said, implying the person whom Reiden had expected.
"Ah, I knew it was her."
"Yeah. Anyway, just wanted to say congrats mate. 'Bout time too, ya lazy git!"
"Yeah, thanks Kosk. Look, I don't mean to be a pain, but I got some work to do, we'll catch up later, right?"
"Sure, sure. Now that you're a big shot you don't have much time do ya?"
"Okay, enough! You know damn well what I mean"
"True. Fair enough then. Later Reiden," Kosk said, taking his leave.
Reiden waved his hand again, replacing the lock on the door. Just then his comlink beeped and he swore multiple times, knowing exactly who it was. He flicked the switch to take the call.
"Yes? Reiden here."
"Hiya minion!" it was the voice of his master, Angelo Dante, coming from the comlink. Reiden was speechless for a moment and after some silence Dante continued, "what's the matter Reiden, ignoring me?" he asked jokingly.
Shaking his head, as if it would help, Reiden replied, "Dante, master, no offense but why are you calling me?"
"Bah! Can't I say congrats to you without you acting so shocked and stupified?"
"No, that's not it. I was simply expecting someone else."
"Fine. Now, minion?"
"Yes, master?"
"Nice job, and keep up the good work, got it?"
"Of course, master."
"Ah, good. Now, mush minion!" and with that, Dante severed the connection.
About to get to work, his comlink neeped yet again.
"Reiden here, go ahead." he spoke into the device.
"Well hey there sunshine. You ready to start licking my boots now?" Thran's voice came through, and Reiden could clearly tell that the Sith was going to enjoy this as much as he could.
"Sir, I'm sorry but, is that really necessary?" Reiden responded calmly.
Laughter was heard from the other end, "Hm, I suppose not...for now anyway."
"Very well sir. What can I do for you today?"
"Hm, well how about you get me some nice, top of the line cognac? While you're at it, just restock my entire private bar for my office," the Quaestor said with more laughter, and Reiden could almost see him smiling.
"Very well sir, it will be done. Is there anything else?"
The Bakuran's lips curled up into a wicked grin, "Yeah, there is. Report, you twit!" he said, cackling wildly.
The young Obelisk couldn't help but grin himself and thought, 'At least he's enjoying himself.'

-- Thursday marked the passing of another Day of the Fox (November 6th). As with every Nov. 6th, and Anniversary of the Split (April 12th), the various Seals of the Brotherhood are awarded. This time around, Scholae Palatinae was able to net 5! Congratulations to Prajna Berkana, Solus Gar, Robin Hawk, Tra'an Reith, and RevengeX on earning Seals of Loyalty!

-- Well, arent we the lucky ones? Not only did CSP net 5 Seals of Loyalty (SoL), but 3 of them came from members within House Dorimad Sol! Nice work to those from HDS that earned a SoL: Prajna Berkana, Solus Gar, and Robin Hawk. Nice work everyone else who earned one as well.
-- Welcome to the latest member of CSP and HDS, Solus Gar! Solus was formerly Xander Drax and he just transferred from Arcona. The least you can do is say hi to him - and buy him a drink too =P.
