The heavily modified ship came in for a landing, almost a week behind schedule. A skirmish with some pirates had forced a brief stop to repair the damage to the hyperdrive before the Shi'ido could resume his travels. Finally, after many long months away and handling his business by remote, he could finally relax at being home, or at least almost home. The guards acknowledge him and let him pass as he ascended high into the Citadel, coming out on the floor of the Imperial Senate, where his Master stood waiting. It would shortly be time for the Changing of the Guard, where Lucien would assume the Role of Emperor. "It is about time that you returned to us. Report."

House Business

Kalak had a competition out, but no one it seemed, was interested in critiquing the House Summit. Interesting, but not very productive for us. He issued an order in his report, for all of you to come find one of the summit on IRC and hold a conversation with us about something meaningful. As of yet, no one has approached me for this task. Hop to it people!

Timbal sent out an email, asking for all persons interested in the ACC, or not yet qualified to send us an email and let us know what's going on. So far we've had ONE. Is it really that hard to take ten minutes out of your day, and come find one of us on IRC? Or shoot us an email about the ACC and your interest or non-interest in it?

We're preparing for the GJW which is coming in January. I know that most people think it's a long time away, but it really isn't. Good preperation begins months in advance, to address all of the aspects that a GJW will cover. We're trying to address the ACC, we'd also like to address RO's, fiction (Short and Long), as well as the difference between In Character and third person. Please help us with this by letting us know what you want, what you need help on, where you'd like to go with the GJW. This massive competition is a time of fictional development, personally, for the house, and for the Clan. Help us help you.

Clan Business

The Changeover fiction should be coming soon. Once the site is back up from Jac updating it, Phoenix will officially step down and Lucien will be Consul. Hop on IRC and congratulate Lucien if you see him, and thank Pho for his dediacted service if you see him. Both have worked exteremly hard to get us here.

Competitions

I'd normally have links, but the site being down means I can;t get them for you. Dante sent out an email last week about a gaming competition. I hope you entered as it was an excellent way to earn both recognition and some awesome shinies. Thran and Robin both have competitions out. You're running out of time for those.

For those of you who have earned the rank of DJK or above, Impetus and Eludajae are running a comeption for designing your Noble House. It's going to play into the fictional development of these houses, so I'd hurry up and get it done. That one ends on the 30th. Don't wait until after Thanksgiving to do it, get it done soon!
