Report 3** - November 13, 2008 - 29 ABY

The Rollmaster sighed contently, she was almost done her report and was pleased with the results. Looking around her, now organized, everything in its place, office, she smiled. Before sending the report off, Hawk recalled the last two weeks and some of the events that transpired.

~//~ _ Phoenix went missing only to be discovered by the Proconsul at Korriban. He was caught in Palpatine's chamber forming a connection between himself and the former Sith Lord. Committing treason against the Clan. For punishment the former Emperor was sent to an abandoned temple and a new Emperor was proclaimed. The OP stepped forward and took his place giving a wonderful speech claiming predetermined victory against other Clans._

Meanwhile, back at Caina, Robin continued to process the new recruits. Many have already finished some tasks necessary to complete their trials, but she wished there were more in training. You need many to fight a war and she felt the Clans numbers didn't amount to what was necessary to do so. She didn't know much about the upcoming Great Jedi War, only heard rumours and they frightened her. She kept hold of that fear, using it to make her stronger and passing that fear to the sun's journeymen and testing how they use that fear to make them stronger.

~//~ _As she hit send on the computer console, the door chimed. "Come in," she said joyfully while getting up from her desk and grabbing a container of water. The figure entered the room showing a demeanour indicating his age being 15 years her senior and looked at her with no expression to give. The young Sith felt aw-struck over the man but it wasn't his rank or masculinity, it was something more. But now was not the time to study him and she could sense him wanting her to speak first. Snapping out of her state of aw, Hawk cleared her throat and looked back at him. "How can I help you Mr. d'Tana?" Turning away to water some plants, avoiding his eyes.

The d'Tana smirked watching the girl water her plants as if they were more like children, then non-sentient beings that they were. She stroked each leaf with care and whispered quietly to them as if they were listening. He couldn't help but admire her and was almost caught starring dumb-funded when she turned around. She also had to try and hide a smile, from catching his face as it was "So, what is it?" But her eyes showed evidence and couldn't hold their composure to fact that she was almost laughing inside.

A lot has happened in the last two weeks, both in and around the House. Korvyn was seen on IRC (I knew it was a good idea to help get his wife to join, but I didn't know he was a Faleen :P), Thran left the House to become the Clan's Proconsul making Dante our Quaestor which left the Aedile spot open. Many were qualified but only one took the spot. Blade took the title as Aedile and leaving the position of Blades of Chaos battle team leader, open. Go Apply!

It is a great time to be involved in a wonderful club such as the DJB. I predict many wonderful things to come out of its members. Including you. Now is the time to do what you can. Compete in as many comps as you can, play in as many games as possible and ask your leaders if they require any assistance.

I remind those younger Journeymen to keep a record of what you do, in and for the DB, like a resume. I keep a spreadsheet and it helps when applying to positions across the club. If you need help with setting one up, you can contact me by email or IRC.

Also, if you state that you are bored. I will throw you down over my knee and beat you, like a little child:P. The embarrassment alone should be enough. There are tons of comps. Go do them now!

HOME FRONT

As a lot of you may or may not know I am a film maker. Well I would like to pretend I am one at least. All summer I had been making a Star Wars fan film. These last two weeks I finally have had the chance to begin to dump and edit it. Unfortunately being in Canada and because of the weather, I ran out of shoot days and will have to wait untill April to do my secondary shooting. With CGI, editing, sound fx etc. the goal is to have the thing finished in 2009, so stay tuned!

I would just like to point out to our new recruits that as you can see, some of our older members, Dakari for instance, are still going through the courses offered by the Shadow Academy. We do not stop, once we hit a certain rank. We are like the Energizer Bunny. We keep going and going and going.....canes and all!

Set yourself a goal. Aim to do at least one Shadow Academy course a week. If you are really really busy, as we all are, aim to answer 5 questions a week. My goal is to complete or redue one course a week. Like your Quaestor, my ultimate goal is to complete all available courses. Journeymen, please note, the Shadow Academy occasionally brings back some of the currently unavailable courses. Do them while you can.

If you finish a certain set of courses passing at 85% or higher, you are given

the right and honour of getting a Maven. Upon passing the required courses, the
