Voice of Vengeance

Intro:

Once I get a better grasp of this whole "HTML" thing, look for these reports to be prettier. For the time being, I'm mainly concerned with functionality.

Right now, our roster includes myself, Anubis Annedu, Ashron, Kodais Solatus, Kal Vorrac, Alex d'Tana, and Strats Grimm

First order of business:

Greetings, and Congratulations to the new Keto's Vengeance Battle team!

At the time of my writing this, we currently have seven members, including one who is on a forced LoA. I think we can all agree that ideally, this number should increase. Now, I can only do so much. I'm not omnipresent. So that means if you see a new member on IRC and you think they've got potential, talk to them, send them my way, talk to me, or all of the above. Also, brag to the older members about how awesome KV is.

Our Identity:

As I mentioned in my call to action, we are in the unique position to define what Keto's Vengeance is and what we will become. Just look at how bare the Keto's Vengeance Wiki page is. I've come up with a list of things that should be addressed.

Our Motto. The current Motto is "With Vengeance, We Dominate." I don't have anything against it, but if anyone can think of something better, don't be afraid to bring it forward.

Positions. Currently all we have is the BTL (Me) and Everyone else. Back as a member of Satal Victus, everyone was assigned specific jobs (eg. pilot, demolitions expert, sniper). Now, I'm not quite sure how I feel about pigeonholing the battle team into specific roles, since in fiction and runons, it seems to limit what people can write about, but I do think we need a little bit more formal structure.

Uniforms. Will we be dressed as regular dark Jedi? Should we go with the quasi-Stormtrooper look?

Standard Weaponry. For missions and such, should we have standard weapons? If so, what should they be?

Our History and background. What was the fictional reason for KV being reassembled?

Role in House and Clan. What is our place in the House? Are we purely military special-op the best-of-the-best fighters in the Hose? Do we concern ourselves with espionage?

These are some areas that I think we need to consider. By "we" I do mean We. You as well as me. I want this to be OUR battle team, not my battle team. You should have input as to how we will define ourselves. So, this brings us to the next area of my report:

Define Keto's Vengeance: Pick some areas of KV that needs to be improved/expanded upon. Could be something I've listed up here, could be something you thought of on your own. Email it to me exactly as you would have it added to the Wiki. At the end of the month, I'll list all the potential additions and or changes in an email to you all. For entries that are mutually exclusive, there will be a vote for the one we collectively like best. The three people with the most discrete additions get crescents. (Note: I will include anything I write to be voted upon as well, but obviously I can't get crescents from my own comp.)

All in all, there is literally a boatload of competitions right now. Most of the ones I've listed end at the start of December, so go out there and represent yourself, KV, HSK, and CP!!

ACC:

Nothing's official yet, but I'm strongly considering making ACC qualification mandatory for KV, and even leaning towards making everyone be involved in at least one ACC battle per month.

To my knowledge, in the only current battle involving one of our members, Kal has just begun a battle against our esteemed Quaestor, Alaris. (Not sure who I'm rooting for in that one, my master and BT member, or my boss :P)
