Ektrosis AED Report #4 ~DJK Sidarace Rathden~

The three Dark Jedi were silent as the one awaited the announcement of why he had been summoned to his Quaestor and Aedile. Lokasena thought he knew the reason of why he was standing in front of his house summit, but with the recent changes in the Clan, he was not positive with what the outcome of this meeting would bring.

Ektrosis's Quaestor Archpriest Vodo Biask was the first to stir, waving his hand in one fluid motion. The Aedile nodded in acknowledgment and began to speak. After two weeks of intense training and vigorous competition between you and your house mates, we, the Summit of the first House of Ektrosis, Sidarace continued in his normal drowning monotone voice as he addressed the Knight Find you, Dark Jedi Knight Lokasena Corvinus, worthy of carrying the title of 'Ektrosis Champion'. He ended, letting silence engulf the three Dark Jedi once more.

At this, Vodo stood, robes ruffling as he did so, Alas, my Aedile has not yet learned how to add some character to his accent the Quaestor mused On behalf of your house Ektrosis and Taldryan, I bestow upon you the Ektrosis Cup. May it never tarnish in your care, for it is not given lightly, as you must earn it, in which you have done so as an example to your house as what a true leader and member should be.

Corvinus observed as the Archpriest slowly lifted his hand, causing the well ornamented silver cup that adorned the top step of the platform where the Quaestors throne sat to rise a foot into the air, and begin to hover over to his outstretched hand. Grabbing one of the handles, Vodo gestured for Corvinus to kneel and had him outstretch his two hands in order to receive his reward.

Handing the large award to his pupil, the Quaestor began to speak, Receive this from my left hand, and remain as my left hand, just as your Aedile is my right, until should the time permit other wise, Dark Jedi Knight Lokasena Corvinus.

So, there's the fiction I promised you last week for the Ektrosis cup awarding ceremony. I have never been very good at fiction, so bear with me here. However, if I do a little bit of fiction like this every now and then, when ever there is something notable to write about, I think I shall begin to become a better fiction writer. Please feel free to let me know how this fiction was via email or IRC, I enjoy most all criticism, just as long as there is not pointless Sid bashing going on. =P

As most of you should know, Chaosrain Taldrya has stepped down as our Consul due to real life striking again. We will miss you as our CON Chaos, and we hope to see you as our leader again.

As of Chaos resigning, applications for Taldryan CON were being accepted by Raken, Muz and Sarin until the 15th (Saturday, yesturday if you are on the east cost).

Taldryan has our own Ventrilo server! For all of you who do not know, Ventrilo is an online chatting program, via microphone and speakers on your computer, where you can talk to each other and hear everyones nerdy little voices. XD

Ektrosis AWOL check under way. Please, if you are under the rank of Dark Jedi Knight or lower and you are not in a leadership position, send in a reply stating that you would still like to be active.

If you have been having problems (Newer members pay attention please) registering an account on the Brotherhood Message Forums, don't worry about it, 'cause Kir has the answer! Since adding members to the forums is done manually and not done automatically, it sometimes takes longer for your confirmation email to be sent to your inbox. So, Kirs advice on this matter is:

1)Email me as soon as you register, tell me (Kir) the username you used, and I'll handle it as soon as I check my email.

2) Use your DB name as your username. If you pick something really random, I'm going to think you're one of the hundreds of "phishing" joins we get, and delete you.

Sooo, I would highly suggest trying to get on the Vent server. 1) You get to meet other people and hear what they sound like 2) you can actually get to know someone by their voice and their personality, where as opposed to IRC, you can't tell peoples emotions.

I kinda don't have an image for this report =/ I have been fairly busy with work lately (Yes, as young as I may be, I do have a job, and it takes up some of my free time =P).

Also, like I said earlier, tell me what you thought of my fiction above, and what I can improve on in it. As I stated, I plan on making this a regular thing when ever something legitimate comes up for me to post it in a fictional format.

Do Aediles challenge: This weeks Aediles challenge is called: Ekky Summit, yeah, we Pwn

Mhm, that's the name of this weeks competition, and it follows what you need to do;

write up a witty catch phrase including Vodo and I, and how awesome we are.

An example of this is: "Vodo pwns so much, he makes other clans CONs look bad, (Yes, that is a complement) And Sid, he makes water stand still."

Something like that.

You have a week to send in your submissions. Limited of 3 quotes per person.

So, we have had a very small feed back from the AWOL check so far, which ends monday. This makes me sad, because I love you guys, and you make this club awesome for me, as well as it does Vodo.
