Perched on the rooftop of the Obsidian Palace the Battlelord had an excellent view of the entire Serpent’s Vanguard. A steady rain fell, making puddles against the durasteel plating on the roof. Waterproof cloak pulled tight around herself, however the Sith remained dry as her dark eyes watched the House. The ebb and flow of the force energies prickled at the edge of her awareness as the members of Caliburnus went about their work, unaware of the silent watcher.

Hearing the roof door open behind her, Rasilvenaira turned her head, glancing over her shoulder. The metallic footsteps brought a faint smile to her lips as Verlassen stepped out onto the rooftop.

“Mistress! Please come back inside, an urgent package arrived for you.”

“I know, Ver, I’ll be there in a moment, it’ll keep.

Verlassen sighed, “Very well.”

Rasilvenaira returned to her office to find the messenger still waiting. A small package set on a table in the center of the office, and the Sith nodded to the messenger.

“So, you were able to find the stuff?”

“Aye, it’s crafted precisely to your specifications and the poison’s the deadliest I could get for what you’re paying me. Highly fatal and practically untraceable, per your request.”

Opening the box, Rasilvenaira examined the stunningly well crafted dagger, and checked the vial that was tucked in beside it in a smaller box.

“They’ll do perfectly. I’ll see to it that a small bonus finds its way to your accounts.”

“A pleasure doing business with you StormRaven, as always. I’d almost feel sorry for whoever you’re killing this time, but I sold my conscience for a spice freighter years ago.”

A mirthless grin flickered over the Battlelord’s features, “Then you made quite a profit, as usual. I trust you can see yourself out.”

The messenger nodded, and slipped out of the office, leaving the Aedile to her plans.

News:

There is a Great Jedi War on the horizon, now is the time to begin preparations. Dust off your gaming disks, dig out the stacks of paper to write on, and get active. There are many ongoing and upcoming competitions that will be serving as excellent practice to get you ready for the GJW.
