Greetings Night Hawks,
We got some things brewing in the works and its starting to heat up quick around here. The GJW is not far off and over all the clan seems to be in a slump of sorts with activity and such. I want everyone of you to start thinking about the activities you are strong at and ones you are weak at. In the next few weeks we as a battle team are going to discuss how best to apply ourselves to the many events we have coming up so we can maximize our time, talent, and most of all FUN.
Something to keep in mind about the GJW, Clan Taldryan to my knowledge has never lost but almost did so at the hands of Clan Naga Sadow in the Last Great Jedi War. Can you imagine if we could actually defeat them? Can you imagine how spectacular such an event would be? We were so close last time which tells me that this time we have a better than fair chance of winning this thing. Now I am not going to sit here and harp on training and threaten you with some sort of other silliness. Instead I want to encourage and inspire you all to pull out the most your talents have to offer. We can make the difference here and we can make Dark Brotherhood history.
Night Hawks are finally going to be getting a bit more of a face lift. The recent entries to my comps that I put out last month are in the process of being graded and I will use some of what you guys gave me as the source. Expect a new logo, and fictional updates to clear up our functionality. Also I am creating Battleteam level leadership positions of authority. This will serve two functions, get those of you who are interested in progressing in the Brotherhood a chance at authority to gather experience as well as allowing me to delegate certain areas of our operations to you so that we can build on a team ethic.
Positions to be opened:
Battleteam Training Officers (3) 1 for gaming, 1 for writing, 1 for graphics Pretty self explanatory
Battleteam Intelligence Officer This person will be in charge of helping the BTL gather relevant news and materials and will assist in planning events.
Battleteam Public Affairs Officer This person will assist in the upkeep of the Battleteam wiki page and will be the public representative of the Battleteam.
These positions are voluntary and hold no special privelages outside of the Battleteam. They are designed to help build a stronger battleteam and improve efficiency.
In other news, major thanks go out to those who submitted to my comps. They helped out a great deal.
Well the biggest thing going around is the activity policy and the subsequent activity check. This is all I have to say about it;
1 activity is all you need to do. One competition, one clan type activity such as a run on or something that benefits the clan in some form or fashion.
Best thing to do is stay in touch with me and do a comp.
If you have doubts about your activity levels get in touch with me and I can help you out.
Dont stress about it. Its not as big a deal as it seems.
As I said before the GJW is coming up fast.
Applications are being accepted for the Left Hand of Justice. This requires someone of at least the DJK level. If you are interested you guys better hurry and finish your trials.

Well as you all may have noticed I have not been very present on IRC in the past two weeks. My training at my squadron has really kicked up a notch and my average work day is around 12-13 hours with a 10 hour crew rest requirement between events which leaves only about 1 hour of free time each day. That being said I am going to be relying on you guys a lot to help out on the battle team. I am currently working on stepping up Zaroth to take on some more duties and responsibilities to train him for the position of leader .. provided he is up to it of course :D. In any case I will keep you all appraised if there is to be a change in leadership and I will help to make it a smooth transition. I am not saying this will happen.. just that it could.
