This is my second Battle-Team Report as Commander of Nightshade Squadron of House Caliburnus.

One competition is out for now (I’ve been told to make only a few comps for the BT) and I’ve only received one entry. It’s a very simple comp, and your answers to it can even be included in an email directly to me ([Log in to view e-mail addresses]).

It's an easy competition before some big Clan comps come into play, it

might even give you something to do while your in between some heavy

competitions.

Pretty easy.

Every week I have decided to start three things, one is the quote of the week, another is “Ramblings of a Crazy Ithorian” and the last thing is “Real Life with Scyrone”. Honestly, they are mostly just fillers/life lessons (probably something which I shouldn’t be giving) and interesting things about what I did the past week.

~Ramblings of a Crazy Ithorian~

Real Life. What a word. Sometimes I think, “Why could I not have one? It gets in my way, it sucks me into its galaxy-wide cavern, and forces me to be its slave!” Unfortunately we all have one (maybe). The reason I mention RL (real-life) is because it seems that it is really hitting people hard this month (Christmas, Kwanzaa, Winter Solstice, Hanukkah, Give-An-Atheist-A-Free-Present-Day, Yearly Blood Sacrifice, or whatever else you celebrate). People have school exams. People have jobs. People like to sleep. And for those of you in the Southern Hemisphere, it’s your summer vacation. One thing RL takes away from us is the Dark Jedi Brotherhood, your online friends, or even your Houses and your Clans. I know a lot of people are busy during this time. I know it can get quite busy here in the Brotherhood too. But remember this, the Brotherhood may always be here, but the unique individuality of every different competition will not. What I mean is if you even have a spare moment of time on your hands, go and do a competition. Or go onto IRC and get to know all the wonderful (and incredibly weird) members of the DJB. Remember what our purpose is . . . well, yea, it is to eventually destroy the Jedi and rule the galaxy, but we also have another hidden purpose; to give you the chance to tell real life to “Go screw itself” and enjoy yourself in our fictitious part of the Star Wars Universe. What can you learn from this? Well, I think it was a better way of saying “Activity is cool.”

~Real Life with Scyrone~

I went to a Dragonforce concert in Cleveland yesterday night. Cleveland is a four hour drive my where I am. No words can describe there performance. Epic, maybe, but nothing else. I also went to a bonfire Friday night where I watched a bunch of drunk people play around with gasoline (DO NOT try that at home, someone almost caught on fire). We roasted smores and I watched them play beer pong. It was better than the last bonfire in which this one dude was so drunk he told me that if I didn’t take a drink he would beat me up. I didn’t take a drink. He fell over running towards me and passed out.

But I wrote this on Tuesday (had to change a few things in the report). Lucien, our beloved/tyranical Emperor, has issued a warning that intelligence reports say a group of people are trying to overthrow our Clans government. Well, we are Clan Scholae Palatinae, and whatever happens, we will not be quashed by any uprising of sorts.

I quote this directly from the Emperor though, "However, anything can and often does, happen. So, I ask each and every one of you to stop what you are doing and report to your superior military officers for debriefing and training. I may call the military into service at any moment and I would like you all to be as prepared as possible."

Hopefully this will not have to happen, but if it must then we will fight for the glory and power of the Clan.
