Timbal Palpatine, seriously annoyed at this point, just took the reports in his hand and tossed them into the general direction of his suite’s doorway.

The unrest in the general populace on the planet, especially amongst the more militant tribes, was becoming a problem. There had been no way he could prove that any one person or organization was responsible for the mounting threats and the odd terrorist attack, but he had his suspicions. He had dispatched some of the lower-ranking House members out to provide some reports for their intelligence unit to use, but most of them hadn’t been able to find out anything as yet.

Worse, he was hearing rumbling that this was going on system-wide, which meant that someone was organizing this.

Thankfully, per the orders of the Grand Marshall, the House defensive Regiments, the 2nd and 3rd, were both ordered to stand-to and be ready for anything. In fact, several Alpha Teams of the 52nd Legion were already out in the field, attempting to collect intelligence as he had ordered.

“We’re chasing ghosts,” Timbal grumbled to himself. He took a deep breath to help deal with the mounting stress, then decided he might as well grab a sandwich to at least have a full stomach while stressed.

One more thing to take care of, though. He grabbed his datapad, and wrote up an order, then transmitted it to the House. Time to get them ready for action, he thought, as his stomach started to complain about the delay in sandwich time.

• Holiday hopes: I hope that Lightsaber Battles for the Wii doesn’t completely suck for Josh. He really wanted the game and I got it for ‘em…. =)

• I thought the rant in Thran’s report last time was kinda lame. Seriously? Winter? And what’s with the Seinfeld-esque “What is the deal with winter?” Kinda slipping there, buddy. =D
