Exams are over, all of our Summit is back to normal. Well, as normal as each can be.
It's the winter break, which means people expect me to be full of Christmas cheer. Fuck that shit; I'm going to be as mean as ever.
GJWs are coming up. Make sure to participate in all the House and Clan compeitions.
Competitions are going on, DO THEM!
Clan AWOL went around, a lot of dead weight was dropped. Jeeeeej.
Must hold a minimum Rank of Protector (PRT)
Must have passed the General Leadership SA Exam (and have gotten a good score)
Must have a solid IRC presence
Must have 24-hour e-mail turnaround time
Must be competent and coherent in the English language. Vlad and I don't care if "it's just the Internet"; be coherent or don't bother applying.
Must have decent understanding of the way the DB Rank/Promotion/Awarding/etc. system works.
Must have some basic knowledge of the Taldryan Codex (It can be found on Taldryan.net)
Must be registered on the Taldryan.net website

That's it for the requirements. They are subject to change with notice, so make sure to keep notice. As for the job itself, the BTL duties will include:

To oversee the development and progress of the House's newer members.
To run competitions for the members of your Battle Team.
To release regular updates/reports via the DB Report Administration.
To be in constant e-mail contact with both the House Summit and the Battle Team members.
Work closely with the House Summit (Quaestor and Aedile)
Double-check with the Summit on ANYTHING you're unsure of. If you have any doubts, get in contact with the Summit before you act.
Duties are bound to change/grow as we get closer to the GJW. This is just prelimenary stuff.

Send all applications to Vlad and myself with the Subject line "Application for BTL", and make sure to CC Shadow and Sklib; you can find all of our e-mails at the bottom of this report. Applications are accepted in .doc, .rtf, and .txt format. Make sure to keep it tidy. Applications due by December 28th, 2008, 11:59pm

DJM Shadow Taldrya (Consul) got the Scroll of FOundation and a Steel Cross.
DJM Halcyon Rokir got a Dark Cross for being a ninja-MAA bitch.
OPM Benevolent Whiner got a Steel Cross as well for his outstanding work as OFH BTL.
DJK Debric Santhe d'Tana snagged a Dark Cross for beta testing the new character sheets.
GRD Seviss Nihilus Vaa went home with 6 Clusters of Fire, a Pendant of Blood, and a Legion of the Scholar. Good work!

Dinaari's Christmas - It's almost Christmas. Due December 24th, write up a story detailing your character's most unique Christmas ever. Bonus points/consideration will go to those people who tie it in with the Dark Side and make it all Dark Jedi-y. Holiday Caption COntest - Run by GRD Jerse Remid - Over the course of one month, there will be 4 rounds of funny SW/SW Holiday Picture posted on the Clan Taldryan Subforum of the Message Boards. Each round will feature 5 pictures that members of Taldryan will post a funny caption to. Each round will run for a week, with each round being rewarded. Taldryan's Improv Comedy Show - The Improv Comedy Show is a simple forum-based competition designed for the members to have fun and joke around while increasing their activity on the Clan forums. Each week, Consul Shadow will start a new thread based on a type of improv and each person will have to post within the confines of the rules explained in that first post. Operation: Resurgance - Clan Taldryan has been tasked with preventing the Vong from rallying at the Bakura System. This competition is geared towards preparing the members of Taldryan for the upcoming Great Jedi War. EaWesome The Second - Maximum of playing one person from the clan 5 times, unlimited against outside of Clan. Runs until December 31st. Top 3 with most wins get Level 3 crescents. Players can use games in regular Gaming nights towards the competition. Scores from each game to be e-mail directly or bundled in a daily report type of e-mail.
