Happy New Year!

It has been a while since the posting of a Consul's report, but that was - in general - a common theme for the Holidays. The hope was that by cutting the guys on the leadership team some slack and letting them spend time with their families... they would rejuvenated for a new year of challenges and change. So if you feel confused or lost from a lack of contact from the top of the Clan down... its on me. I wanted the focus not to be on Clan Plagueis or the Brotherhood, but on yourself and your family.

Clan News

State of the Clan Address. This is something new for most members, but if you have spent a January in Scholae Palatinae... you may be familiar with this tradition. It is where the Consul addresses the Clan and discusses the past year, the forthcoming year and the things that influenced both. It is our vision statement for the new year. And, at this point, you guys know I love to type long e-mails. So, for me, it is win-win.

Leadership Changes. Yes, I am aware that we have several leadership positions that need filling. No, I do not move quickly on filling these positions. Yes, I will announce the changes in the State of the Clan Address. No, I am not asking for applications (yet). Yes, I am aware that we have several leadership positions that need filling... believe me, I am. I promise. :-p

Projects. That long laundry list of projects is not a pipe dream. That is the forward progress we are looking for as a Clan. We will be taking status updates on those soon, but no real work will begin on them until after that forthcoming Great Jedi War {GJW).

GJW. I will be working with respected Clan Members and Leaders to establish our GJW team. If you believe yourself to hold a niche or field of expertise in the Dark Brotherhood and want to share that with your clan throughout the entire GJW... please contact me. I will be determining Captains and strategy over the next week or so. Work together, win together.

Combat Master Report: The Combat Master, Dark Jedi Master Halcyon, has issued a new report. Please, please, please review the contents of this report and learn from it. If you are not Qualified for the Antei Combat Center, please get with SWL Vessicant, OP Cethgus or myself so we can get you qualified before the upcoming Great Jedi War.

Master At Arms Report: Dark Jedi Master Kaek issued a report. It hits the subjects of forthcoming projects, his new open-door policy, and more. If you are a leader, you should be reading his reports... and on occasion you should backtrack and read his old reports for additional insight.

The Message

Today's message is going to be about the forthcoming torrent of e-mails - known as the "Consul's GJW Response" - that will be hitting your inbox.

I am going to shove soooooooo much e-mail into your inbox, folks. I am going to give you ideas on how to execute a successful campaign, I am going to teach you how to contribute in team events, I am going to tell you where to find knowledge for individual events... and much, much more.

So as you get these e-mails, please take a moment to read them. They will be crucial in your efforts once the war starts.
