Sitting at his desk at the Clan military headquarters, Dante browsed through the various intelligence documents that were sent to him every day. Until recently, they had contained the status and movements of the other clan's forces, recon reports on the Vong, and the occasional threat briefings on the various factions of the Imperial Remnant and the New Republic. Now, it took him almost an hour every day to go through just the ones on the actions of "The Cause" and a few other extremist copy-cat groups that were taking advantage of the successes of "The Cause" to hide within its wake. Most of these were small and more criminal in nature and were dealt with by the local police forces. As a longtime military officer, Dante hated that the resources of the Imperial Scholae Guard were being drawn away from preparing for the final assault against the Vong or operations against the other clans in order to deal with this new terrorist threat. He also knew from past experience that a combination of good civil affairs combined with a withering attack on all levels of the organization was the best way to defeat a low level insurgency. The Dark Paladin already had teams going into the outlying districts of Caina to provide resources to these desolate communities. Caina had always been a very capitalistic planet even with the mining industry having a large place in its economy. That most of the planet's population was very well paid, and that most of the miners were really robots also had kept "The Cause" from having a large presence on Caina. Hopefully, the planet would continue to be fairly peaceful....

Greetings Minions!

1. Our site has returned to full functionality, and I hope to see more of you than I have been. Personally, I know that I slacked off a bit with the site being down to gear up for the upcoming GJW, but I am now back and fully ready to defeat the other clans!

2. Also, we have won the first 2 weeks of RoaR, but there will still be more following the GJW so make sure you try and remember the plot of the event in a few months.

3. Thran, our former Quaestor, has been named as the Emperor (Consul) of Clan Scholae Palatinae. This is a great achievement for both himself and our House so please send him a congratulations email or PM if you haven't already.

Our weakest events during the past Clan competition were the fiction events, so I came up with some short competitions that might helps us warm up a bit in our more non-traditional (for HDS) events.

Words of Love

Valentines is but seven days away. Come up with a poem about love for either your favourite Roll Master or someone else you care for dearly in the House.
