-- With Operation: Resurgence over with and done, the winners have been chosen and recognized as for the following events:

• Battle Plan event: Team Crix, Sidarace and Sklib

• ACC event: Sidarace, with a close second by Erinyes (She nearly beat me!)

• Fiction event: Lokasena

• Gaming event: Vardar (No suprise what so ever)

• Run on event: Vardar, with Lokasena coming in close second

So, congrats to all of you, and your medals will be recc'd asap.

Dark Brotherhood News!

-- March first (1st) is coming up, and is the start of the Great Jedi War 9: Unification. I am psyched. You are psyched. We all are psyched to go rip the black emo hearts of the other clans to a pulp, chewing them up bit by bit, then spitting them out, leaving them to rot and decay like a dead carcas in the deasert.

-- Herald Shikyo is on a semi LoA as he moves into his new place. Once he returns he will continue to pwn for dah broda hoot.

-- Deputy Grand Master Muz is also moving, and will be busy with moving for a short while.

-- DB site has been up for a good two weeks now. Yay!

-- DGM Muz put out the last fiction update for the 'Fall of Antei' series. Read it. It has good stuff in there.

-- CM, T:Wiki and HM reports are out and on the DB main page.

-- Applications for Consul of Scholae Palpatine are open for applications, along with Aedile of House Satal Keto of Plaguis. PROCEED WITH CAUTION!

-- SW Taigikori Aybara is the new Praetor to the Headmaster. He is a great ass kisser ;] He is also good at helping me with a quick HTML code problem I had, so congratulate him on his new position!

SA/Medals/Promotions

-- No SA courses have been passed.

-- Medals awarded:

DJM Shups earned himself a Crescent with a Topaz star. Woot.

DA Seraine "Erinyes" Tenama snagged herself a Crescent with Sapphire star. Oh shyea.

SWL Andan Taldrya Marshall grabbed a Crescent with Emerald star for his placement in OP:R. Envoys are awesome, Crix rocks.

KAP Vodo Biask won a Crescent with Topaz star. QUA kicking it old school.

SBM Vardar Fen'Amar Ordo got the mother load this week, bringing in 1x Emerald, 1x Sapphire, 2x Amethys, 1x Topaz, 2x PoB, and 92 CF's, and to top it off, he earned an Antein Cross for all of his activity and support in the house. Congrats Var!

SW Gobhainn Sgath got himself a nice Crescent with Emerald star. Woot.

DJK Lokasena Corvinus won 2x Sapphire's and 1x Topaz! Go Sena!

DJK Andryan "Ace" Queldom snagged a Crescent with Emerald star for placement in OP:R! =]

DJK Sidarace Rathden earned 1x Quartz, 1x Emerald, 1x Amethyst. Yay me!

JH Quintan Tylax the Phoenix BTL walked away with a nice Crescent with Emerald star! Okay, you can give it back now.

Competitions!

Taldryan's Improv Comedy Show

Starts: 2008-11-22 Deadline: 2009-12-31

Unit: Clan Taldryan

The Improv Comedy Show is a simple forum-based competition designed for the members to have fun and joke around while increasing their activity on the Clan forums. Each week, Consul Shadow will start a new thread based on a type of improv and each person will have to post within the confines of the rules explained in that first post.

Some examples include: one word run-ons, rollback – where a scene is given and each participant goes back to a certain point and re-writes the ending, song creation – where Shadow will post a link to a song and the participants have to re-write the lyrics of either a verse or chorus.

These small competitions will be judged on entertainment value and can be participated in by anyone in the Clan, as many times as they wish if the rules don’t expressly forbid it. The goal is to have fun and work with your Clan mates to create funny stories.

Awards: Third-level crescents and select entries/stories will be added to the next Tal Times!

[Taldryan] Dark Brotherhood Fantasy Draft

Starts: 2009-01-04 Deadline: 2009-03-04

Unit:

Taldryans, the first Fantasy Draft is upon us! In this competition, members of Taldryan will each select a certain number of members from around the Brotherhood from a free agency list, then compete tournament-style to determine who knows who the most powerful Dark Jedi are!

There will be three judges and a TBD number of participants. This will be done primarily on the forums, but IRC can be used for making trades, telling the commissioner your picks, etc. This is a single elimination tournament. More specifics will be given in a Clan email as soon as possible with all the details.

Aediles Closing Thoughts!

And the winners of my 'Ultimate Sig' competition are... Vardar with 1st, Gobhainn with 2nd, and Vodo with 3rd! Congrats everyone, medals will be put in once I am publish this report!

Getting down to RL life, my birthday is coming up on the 27th, and I will be old enough to get my permit, grow out my beard, and 1 year away from 17! I am super excited about this, because I have been ready to drive for years now, and I can finally do it legally! On top of that, 16 just sounds so much better than 15 =P

For all of you Phoenix members, a note from your BTL Quintan, "I'm still alive and you will hear from me more once I get done with this work." He has been very busy with work lately, and his email server (Which he runs, btw) went down for a good bit, so he was out of contact with everyone.

Operation: Resurgence is over. Yay! We had a good run with that, and I am really happy with the turn out from our Ektrosis members. The medals section of my report is a testament to your activity, and I am extremely grateful.
