Venue Guide Competition

The ACC Staff has been putting together a list of arenas that will be presented in the ACCÂ’s Compendium, providing members with a database of arenas, presenting them with descriptions of each arena, possible hazards, and its location. With such guide, members should never again have to dig their minds to find an original arena!

This is where the competition starts: I want member inputs. Send us as many arenas that you can think of, using the following guidelines :

Tatooine (Name of Planet)
The primary planet in the Tatoo system, this desert world was located in the Arkanis Sector of the Outer Rim Territories near Piroket and Ryloth, some 43,000 light-years from the galactic core. It was close enough to a major hyperspace nexus to make it easy to get to such worlds as Coruscant and Corellia, but its environment made it one of the most inhospitable places in the galaxy. The planet's twin suns mercilessly heat the planet, making it very difficult to escape the never-ending heat. At first glance, this planet is made up of nothing but wastelands and deep canyons. Few cities lie on its surface, including Mos Eisley, Mos Espa, Anchorhead, and the Tosche Station. Various Jawa and Sand People settlements can be found throughout the canyon, and the Dune Sea.

Arena 1
Location : Beggar's Canyon
Description : Located in the Jundland Wastes, Beggar's Canyon had proven to be a popular fighting arena. The rocky walls of the canyon tower hundreds of feet above, ground, with rocky platforms formed from erosion spreads at various heights. The sandy floor of the chasm is populated by the various jagged rock formations and debris of ships and pod racers alike.
Hazards : Sand People or Swoop Gang attacks, Sand Storm, Bantha trampling.

There are no limits on the amount of inputs one may send, and rest assured that 95% of inputs will be included in the Guide. Only the mediocre ones, or the repeating ones will be left aside. Be original, and let your imagination flow! We need many planets, many arenas.

Submissions are to be sent to [Log in to view e-mail addresses] and will be reviewed by the ACC staff, and be added to the compendium.

On January 22nd, the top three arenas submitted will be announced and the winners will be awarded a crescent, its value ranging differently to the amounts of inputs the winners have sent in.

Good Luck, we expect many arenas. This is an easy competition giving each an opportunity to aid the expansion of the Combat Centre.
