Justicar Report

The site went down shortly after I posted this the first time, and it wasn't included in the backup...so I figured I should put it up again. Enjoy...for the second time! (Note: I also have adjusted the RHoJ application deadline, see info below)

I've been so busy with GJW work and the excitement of the GM switch that I completely forgot about my two-year mark as Justicar...whoops! So, continuing the tradition I started last year, I will now show you all some fancy statistics:

Quick Reminders

First - Orv has fixed the message boards! which means I no longer have to manually approve or delete every person/bot that signs up. Specifically, he has made it so the MBs automatically reject anyone who registers using an email address that does not match one matched with a DB dossier. As always, if you have any MB issues, feel free to email me.

Second - if you share a computer with anyone (family member, friend, coworker, etc) and you haven't already registered with me, please do so. Also if you recruit someone at some point in the future and you share a computer, you need to let me know - that way you avoid being prosecuted for cloning.

Third - if you have created any material used by the Dark Brotherhood as a whole, please read over and consider signing the DB Copyright Release.

RHoJ Applications

Just a reminder that I am now taking applications for the position of Right Hand of Justice. Applications should be emailed to me - and because the site has been down, I'll move the deadline to this Friday, March 6.

Here are the criteria you must meet to apply:

_-Rank of at least DJK

-Past DB leadership experience

-Must have passed the DB Judicial Certification Course

(in the past, or you can take it now)_

Conclusion

This time last year I told all of you that I had these five goals for myself:

_-Further simplify and clarify the Dark Covenant

-Work more closely with the Consuls

-Demystify the Chamber

-Create anonymous complaint system

-Be more accessible to all club members_

On most of these goals I made good progress over this past year - I put up an entire Wiki page on the Covenant including an FAQ, I've increased my communication with the Consuls and the membership as a whole, and I've tried to detail the workings of the CoJ via the Wiki to take the mystery out of it. My plans for an anonymous complaint system were scrapped when I decided to get rid of the independant Chamber website, but that is something I may reexamine in the future.

I also want to take this opportunity to set some goals for my next year as Justicar:

_-Maintain or improve current intervention levels

-Increase general knowledge of the Chamber

-Train future Chamber members (potential Justicars!)

-Assist GM with non-CoJ projects_

Thank you...

I'd like to thank all those members who served the Chamber of Justice during my second year. Specifically, my thanks go out to Vlad, Tron, Dante, Malisane, Alex, Aabsdu, Malidir, Mejas, Jonuss, and Kaek. These members have all volunteered for jobs which do not make you very popular, and can sometimes be quite a bit of work. I really appreciate their stepping up, and I hope to work with even more of you over the next year!

Signed and Sealed in Justice,

Dark Jedi Master Kir Katarn

Justicar and High Protector of the Dark Brotherhood
