The light reflected off the new brassy surface of the new Aediles name plate. A hand reached out and grabbed it off the newly polished desk, previously belonging to Ric Hunter. Just as quickly as the name plate went on the desk, it came off. The feminine hands gripped the plate tight. Just as quickly as the plate came off the desk, it was on another. "There that's better." This desk was covered in sample containers, litmus papers, empty test tubes and data chips, plus some other various office supplies. "War is but two-days away, we better be ready. Must defend the castle, call all to arms." Excited as she was, Hawk fed on the fear that was growing deep in her core.

I am back, if you haven't noticed, heard or seen me on IRC already. As Dante becomes the PCon and Blade moves up to Quaester, I have become your new Aedile. While I was away I came up with about 11 competitions, half specifically for the House alone. For now though I want your full concentration on the Great Jedi War, that is only TWO days away. Do everything that you can. Strate-gize your plan of attack, do everything that you can and fight fight fight! We want to kick those Tally's out the front door and hang them by their feet on skewers outside our castle gates. I missed you all so badly, but I had a kick ass time. On my flight to Florida we all got complimentary drinks including booze because they were delayed de-icing the wings. They didn't just give me a glass...Noooo. They gave me a full little bottle of Barcadi. Not my favourite type of rum but hey, its rum and it was free.
I did begin to get a cold and took lots of drugs which seemed to help. Other than the slight discomfort, I didn't let the pain ruin my trip, as any Dark Jedi would do...
I was able to see many animals I don't normally see at home some including; egrets, storks, ibises, pelicans, wild pigs and alligators for which I always seemed to call Buddy... "Hey buddy, are you actually asleep buddy...maybe I will keep my distance, eh buddy." On a safari I saw some water buffalo and ostritches which one seemed to chase the vehicle for some time, but we got away.
After a day of outlet shopping with my mom was the trip to Orlando. Three days of fun and adventure. First was Disney Hollywood Studios, then The Magic Kingdom and finally Universal Studios. You will all be proud of me at Disney Hollywood Studios the first thing I did was the Jedi Training. I was like 'pick me, pick me!", though I would have demanded a crimson saber and a black robe, instead of those ugly brown ones. :P When Vader made his entrance with the fog Imperial March playing in the background, I was sooo excited my hands were shaking. I taped the whole thing.
At the end of my three days at Disney and Universal, I was lucky to meet up with none other than Timbal Palpatine. We had breakfast at the Intergalactic Denny's Restaurant and I am sure you all have seen our photos.

A few days afterwards we visited a relative to share lunch, the hope was to lie on the beach but it was rather cold. The next day it was another cold day, but I resisted the cold wind and got my suit on for the first time my whole vacation. Pool was 90F degrees and the area was mostly sheltered from the wind, so I could sun bathe.
I was sad to leave, but I am glad to be back. (I promise my reports won't be so song in the future. ;))
