Ektrosis Aedile Report 11!

Welcome to my eleventh report as Aedile. To start things off, I would like to welcome our newest addition to the house. Everyone please join me in welcoming Apprentice Jerex Virai! You came just in time Jerex, as the Brotherhood wide competition known as the Great JedI war has just started, and this is a great time to get your next few promotions and medals!

-- HRLD Shikyo‘s computer is messed up at the moment, so if you have any war banners/light saber/robe requests, you will just have to sit tight. Email him if you really need too, or just poke Muz.

-- As a note from our Combat Master Halcyon Rocker, from this point on, Old Character Sheets will not be processed, or used for that matter. Yay, we are old CS’ free!

-- With Week ‘0’ of the GJW over, JST Kir Katarn gave out the results for the trivia event. Taldryan is pleased to say that Chaosrain Taldryan and Gobhainn Sgath placed 2nd and 5th. Nobody else who placed is important, so no need to list them.

Run On Event - "Orders"

This event will work just like it did last week, no changes. Muz posted early this morning on each of the Clan GJW forums - his post contained a short fictional background, and then the "Grand Master's Orders". The GM's orders give the specific objectives that each Clan should pursue in this weeks run on.

Fiction Event - "Recon"

In this event, each Clan has a different assignment involving reconnaissance of territory on Antei's surface. These assignments are given as the large red arrows on the map included with the event description on the GJW page here. The arrows on the map constitute all the "orders" for this event - they point to the area in which your Clan is to conduct the reconnaissance mission. So the goal of the event is to write about the recon mission in the area to which your Clan is assigned.

Important!

The fiction event is completely independent of the Run on - the orders from the run-on do not apply to this fiction event. I think this is where some of the confusion has occurred - so just remember that the Run-on orders apply only to the run on, and the fiction "orders" (the arrows on the map) apply only to the fiction event.

We have a lot of SA activity this week, due to the GJW SA events that are taking place.

For competitions, we only have one going on. As you should all know, GJW9:Unification is up and running, and we are all excited to see Tal put another GJW pin under our belt! 4tehWang!

As most of you should know, Krath Epis Bubbles Taldrya has taken up the mantel of Phoenix Tetrarch! Her role in the GJW will greatly help Vodo and I, and we are happy to have her as our Battleteam Leader!

As for right now, the only thing I can say is; Do every event in the GJW you can! Every event counts, so please participate. I made a bad mistake and waited until last minute to write/send in my fiction entry, and I ended up a couple of minutes late, so I did not get the participation/Tal GJW points that I should have. So as a rule, don’t do what I did, Submit fiction at least a few hours (Days is better, though) before the deadline.

Another thing I would like to add, is for everyone to Cc the Taldryan/Ektrosis Summit on everything you do via GJW9. That means, Vodo (your QUA), Crix (Your Envoy), Shadow (Your Consul), Sklib (Your ProConsul), Bubbles (If you are in Phoenix) and of course, me, your Aedile.
