The Great Jedi War is on. If you’re not aware of it, then I don’t know what rock you’ve been living under. Raken’s plotline has been excellent so far and Kir has done a good job keeping everything running smoothly. Go participate! This is the granddaddy of vendettas! Good luck and have fun! Remember, each event counts as a competition for the purpose of your Journeyman promotion requirements.

Policy Updates and Clarifications

Please remember that there are no inter-Clan transfers allowed right now due to the GJW. You can freely transfer to the rogues or out of the rogues to the same Clan but you cannot switch Clans for the duration of the war. This restriction was put into effect shortly before the war started.

I have asked all Consuls to refrain from handing out any medals or promotions for the duration of the Great Jedi War (excepting Journeymen requirement promotions). The Grand Master may, at his discretion, issue field promotions to members during the war. Otherwise, do your best during the war and you will be rewarded once it is over.

Projects

Medal Revision Project: Rekio has been kind enough to begin work on this and I’ve expanded discussion and input to several other members. I hope to finish the early stages of this before the end of the war and perhaps put out a new medal guide at the conclusion of the war.

Please remember that applications for P:MAA are still open. There are no limitations on who can apply. Remember that an application for P:MAA is essentially an application for MAA! Make it good; strong and detailed. I will be accepting applications until the end of the GJW.

Closing Remarks

On a quick side note, my one-year mark as MAA will be coming up on the 29th of March. Woo. I’ve been planning on doing a completely self-serving, self-aggrandizing event on that day to make me feel special and important. If anyone wants to contribute (either positively or negatively) something to “THE YEAR OF KAEK, A Retrospective,” please do. I’m looking at you, Pho.
